Badly handled indeed matey and I found myself getting more wound up as I read along....

Trouble is and I'll keep this brief, despite all their "glowing reports" VS does not seem to react well to criticism, even when constructive and when its a case of "The customer is always right" nor react well when it is their own mistakes.

Dan is probably the best rep we could ask for but even at times, I feel his responses are scripted from higher management.

Given today's market, competition etc it doesn't matter how small a fish in how big a pond you are, end of the day, you're still a customer and a good one at that.

PS: those 200%'ers are a joke - I have had 3 now, useless to low rollers and almost impossible to beat WR with their shocking bad payouts lol. See how they've replace so many FS rewards with 4x race points, 200% etc, feels like not getting rewarded at all.

Dan is indeed a great rep & goes above and beyond. That's not to be confused with VS as a business, they're good obviously, but far from perfect, and a bit 'rigid' with some things...

No doubt Dan himself gets frustrated as his powers aren't all-encompassing when all's said and done!

No, I would prefer to have this thread closed as after this episode I will think twice where I spend my money. Kudos to Dan for sorting it out but the entire experience leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

The most pressing thing is, what would have happened without Casinomeister and Dan? Any player, who is not a member here, would have been left to fend for him/herself.

I will open a new general "Remarkable" thread once I have again one of those magical days.

Everyone should be treated as equal, straight across the board, whether they are a member here or not - no-one should have to resort to making an issue public to get it resolved, this should have been nipped in the bud long before it hit this thread.

Uh oh better go back into hibernation now as I will be in for a long haul of losing again

It has been an unique experience of community feeling coupled with exciting contests and of course, some truly remarkable days. I would like to thank profoundly everyone who has contributed in any form or shape to this thread.

The experience at VS over the last few weeks will lead me to branch out again and try some new gaming hangouts, although it will be difficult for any outfit to match the amount of games, the rewards concept, battle of slots and superfast payments.

A new "remarkable" thread will pop-up at some point in the future when I have once again one of those special days.

It's been a fantastic thread, members helping members, peeps playing, sharing and particicpating.
But it seems ...off...that if it thrives, the original casino by default keeps getting the kudos and attention, or members 'obligated' to flout the op casino, especially if their generosity, in their turn stems from another casino entirely

Well, I have to report now another remarkable Videoslots experience and it is a very positive one.

Just minutes after asking Max to forkify this thread and to my complete amazement, I received an email from the top man of Videoslots with a sincere apology for the poor handling of my case. Not only did he forfeit the outstanding amount but also credited a rather massive bonus with the lowest possible wagering requirement. A truly "remarkable" gesture of goodwill and show of professionalism.

I have fully accepted his apology and I am assured he will put procedures in place to avoid such issues from happening in the future.

Considering the above as well as Dan's actions from yesterday, I have to admit that I will have a hard time walking away from VS, especially since all other aspects are so perfect for my gaming style. Long story cut short, the search for a new gaming hangout has been canceled and I will stay with VS.

However, as Dyonisus suggested, we will open a new remarkable thread to continue with what has become a pleasant little tradition in our community.

Just got to agree with Termur this is a most positive thread, started by you Harry. And it does show what can happen when people get together.

There has been times when I have had a bad run or even just a bad day at work or whatever and come on here to catch any updates to this thread. When people post their wins and pass it on it just lifts the heart.

Well, it could have been nice but blame it on my stuborness as I was chasing a good bonus round on Bonanza. Haven't had one in ages.

Tin foil hat moment included as I couldn't lose a penny while wagering, hitting repeatedly big base game pays between 50x - 120x bet. However, the soon that was complete, it went stone dead, more than stone dead. A meagre bonus round came in after 1200+ spins paying 21x bet.

BTW, the VS bonus was AUD1K with 1x wagering.

One additional reason now to start a new thread soon as I will have to make up for this failure to hit that damn' withdraw button when the balance hit AUD1,600 after wagering the bonus. Really sorry for not keeping a cool head this time.
