To get an understanding about other people's feel about how their relationships in the past and maybe present are going or has went.
I do not understand how I have just been on the phone to my recently last partner who hated my one day a week drinking or other people drinking only to witness her drunken slurring and giggles about it tonight?
We remain friends.
Any wisdom or experiences to share?

Sounds like you've been on the sauce lol....

Mark's the expert probably as he's only had the one missus and has made nearly 20 years, whereas most of my relationships lasted about as long a Gates Of Hell bonus round.

In keeping with the OP's drunken prose, many years ago me and my partner had a drunken argument where I basically stormed out.

Towards leaving the bottom of the stairs, having skilfully navigated three flights, I was walking away fairly triumphant when I heard this almighty cracking sound. Peering back over my shoulder after the three circular blobs had settled into one shape I could just about make out the Sony logo from my mortally- wounded PS2!

Upon my return the next day I could still see its limp husk strewn across the grass

Me and my partner are still together years later. But to my PS2: I'm sorry buddy, you deserved better :(

Actually this is my second missus - the first one lasted 7 years... just made it to the itch! :p

Bloody hell! I won't upset her if she's at the MM again next year!

I rather don't get started as my relationships never lasted very long. Maybe understandable with my constant traveling. It was mostly the ladies, who walked away as they found somebody who was more often at home while I was away for 4-6 weeks at a time. :D

Yeah, sorry about that mate.

I've been rather fortunate with my relationship - my left hand hasnt cared that I drink (it actually often aids in holding beer).
And it never seems to be jealous of the right either :)

well , my former BF is a fan of drink binging every other weekend.
I would give him space and freedom to do so as I am a very chill when it comes to me telling other people how to live their life.
this guy, my former BF has 4 kids, 20 years of marriage, plus a very demanding job so I've figured he deserves it. ( every other weekend he had the kids so in the other weekend he was drinking)
when it was my time to drink binge celebrating my divorce papers finally done - he was pissed about it and throw my whiskey away.
that's my experience relating to the topic , but listen, if you think you have a problem then check it out, if you have feelings for the lady then check it out , otherwise just go on living your life as a lot of people have lots of opinions on how you should live your life

I really should be served a Casinomeister cease and desist warning over my drunken posts! :(
this wouldnt even rank within the Top 100 drunken posts ive seen over the years, so youre good :D
