Not sure if this has been posted on here already but I have done a quick search and found nothing- apologies if it has been posted.

I don't use RedFlush really but did receive this email earlier- Anyone know what other casino's are planning to follow suit and plan on leaving the UK?

Do you think Redflush is acting as an affiliate for Betway?

UK is a big market, do the fees outway the benefit of keeping UK players for themselves?

All these casinos have joined Digimedia and everyone is shunting UK players to Betway. Seems odd to me that out of the whole Jackpot Factory group, the Fortune Lounge group, Belle Rock group, Palace group, and Red Flush whatever their group is that they're only leaving ONE casino for UK players.

I'm wondering if Betway is going to be UK only too? I mean for UK players exclusively.

Id say more to do with the tax collection and scrutiny of operations rather than straight fees. Worrying though, whats the story with the smaller guys like GUTS and Betat etc?

Guts runs on EveryMatrix software and they are London based so I think all the casinos using that platform will be ok.

I cannot remember the names off the top of my head, but some EveryMatrix sites have already closed to the UK due to the impending regulations.

Yeah King Player (You must register/login in order to see the link.) did.

I suspect that's because they don't have many UK players.

We are expected to guess, or look around the net for rumours.

This email (which I haven't received yet from ANY of my Digimedia casinos), gives no date, just an assurance it's going to happen. Since the implementation date has been known for a while now, why can't they give us a definitive date, such as 1st October. Lack of a date means that they could still arbitrarily lock accounts on any date between now and then, yet the tone of the email leaves players with the impression that the lockout will be driven by the UK implementing the changes, which would be midnight 30th Sept/1st Oct.

Apart from the date, we still don't have a proper list of what constitutes " Digimedia casinos", so unless we get the email from a specific casino, we are still in the twilight, possibly in the dark.

As for EveryMatrix being "safe" because it's UK based, this has proven not to be the case, and if one Everymatrix casino locks out UK players because of the regulations, it is quite possible others will, but as before, players will not be getting advance notice.

The only sure way to steer clear of the fiasco is to ONLY play at casinos that have declared an intent to remain in the UK market. The implementation of the regulations on Oct 1st then gives us an even better means to determine "safe" casinos, as all those with the UK licence have to display the logo on their website. UK players can then use the simple rule "No logo, no deposit from me".

It's poor planning by all parties involved that no thought was given to the players during this transitional period. We have been left with no means to check the evolving status of casinos during this transitional phase, thus we can get caught out.

In a telephone conversation with an Everymatrix rep less than a month ago I was told that UK licensing changes would be no problem. Admittedly that was a sales rep but I had no reason not to believe him.

If casinos wish to operate in grey markets (e.g. Australia) then that could affect their ability to get a licence in the UK. For that reason some brands stopped operations in Australia months ago. Hippodrome is one of those, as obviously being a big UK name they are intent on staying (they will get a UK licence for sure).

This just means that EveryMatrix are not going to impose a group policy on it's operators, but it doesn't help the UK player in figuring out which EveryMatrix operators are "safe", and which might boot them one night without notice. We still have to guess whether the casino we are about to deposit at is going to be around in 4 weeks time. It's worth knowing, apart from being able to complete promotions and withdraw, so that we can become the "loyal customer" moving up the VIP scale, opening the doors to the best offers. There is no point earning Gold status this month (for example), and then finding we can't use it during October for the better offers.
