I recently signed up to Redbet and had some initial success. After withdrawal verification was taking an age, so I inevitably reversed the withdrawal and lost (which is what they want of course).
My issue is this. Upon further reading on their policies on slow verifications and payouts, I see that Redbet confiscate winnings and refund deposits from players who have previously excluded from Mr Green.

Upon initially signing up I was unaware that these two casinos were connected (they operate on different UKGC licenses). Now, I have played at Redbet on more than one occasion since my permanent self exclusion with Mr Green (in 2014).

If Redbet are confiscating winnings from players who are excluded with Mr Green, how can they keep my losses from those in the same situation? I've contacted them about this and they keep delaying response.

Anybody have any experience with them re: this?

Its the same thing as any other casino - If you exclude from their sister website they confiscate winnings as they are part of the same group.
So lets say you exclude from Yako Casino, but win and want to withdraw at Fun Casino, they will confiscate as they are sister site part of the L&L group which is standard.
I believe Mr Green and Redbet is somehow connected as Once I was on live chat with Redbet asking for some no deposit offer and the agent responded " Sorry Mr green does not give any free spins via live chat'' I was like Mr Green? This is redbet live chat?
Agent just responded, well the same applies for Redbet.
You should get your deposits back though, but winnings not sure if you have a case here, and the fact they operate under different license not sure if that makes a difference.

@pinnit2014 - Maybe you can jump in here?

Hey, thanks for your reply. I was unaware that they were linked too, I always check the license to ensure I'm not excluded on a sister site. But then when my verification was taking an age I did some digging and discovered that Redbet were confiscating winnings and refunding deposits from players who are excluded at Mr Green, which alarmed me as I am. I don't have any winnings here, just the loss of my deposits. But surely their conduct here means they have to return them?! They can't just penalise winners and profit from losers with this policy?

Mr Green is meanwhile part of William Hill, including Redbet & Winning Room.

Redbet is still operated under a different licence, so I am afraid they won't have to refund anything.

By that reckoning they have no business confiscating winnings from players that are excluded from MrGreen after they win on Redbet then? Which they have been doing.

Not sure why I was unable to view the thread earlier, with a message being displayed "twat". Not the greatest of welcomes.

If you have evidence of that, then use it to help your case.

Still nothing from them. All I get is that it's with the "relevant department" for days on end, but an unwillingness to provide any kind of meaningful update or even tell me how long these alleged investigations take. Very frustrating.

All requests for them to contact these alleged departments for an update are stonewalled.

MRG Are The licensers for BOTH Mr Green and RedBet, to the initial post, you should have a case if they failed social responsibility requirements regarding the self exclusion of your account as the cross license exclusion should have been activated. Have you had a response from them yet?

Forgive me, having been in contact with Mr Green just this morning, I was advised that they operate under the same license holder, MGA and that their self exclusion agreements apply to their sister companies.

But you are from the UK and according to the current records and the links on each site, they are still under different licenses.

That they cross-reference now can only be a good thing and a sign that they are moving to a single licence which in the end might even be William Hill, although WH stated that they will keep MRG as a separate legal entity.
