just a question guys.
Are the two above connected at all?.
The reason I ask is I excluded my mr green account ages ago (not gambling related at all)
Was thinking of playing at redbet again, obviously if the 2 are connected I’d run into a world of shit if I was to win my retirement fund.

Mr. Green is reviewed at Casinomeister.
Why do these casinos not email the players to tell them. Cheers mate, I’ll be avoiding redbet now.

If you take a look at the rep tab there is one and the same for both casinos now.
Agree! They could have told about it. I have closed my account at both places a long time ago, not self excluded though.

Thanks, I’ll give the rep a PM.
Can’t see it being any good as if your excluded at one then I assume it’ll apply to the other.

As they’re still operating under different licences, from a compliance viewpoint there’s no regulatory breach.

Same for LV and Royal Panda: then they made a decision to apply it across all LV owned brands, regardless of the licence arrangements.

They aren't under the same license so legally they don't have to self exclude you from both and couldn't use it as an excuse not to pay you.
Interesting, I just PM’d the rep tbh.
Always that worry on the back of your mind though if they attempt to start and play silly buggers over it.

The affiliate programmes merged in May last year. Odd they still have different licences.
Tbh I can’t see me risking playing at redbet.
Not worth the hassle nor the worry, just a bit pitiful reps can’t come on here and clarify what’s happening.
I don’t mean to this thread as it’s brand new, I mean off there own backs to put players in the picture.
Nice to see the Wild West ways of online casinos is alive and well.

I think they have been clear in this matter in here, but I can't remember what they said :p
I will see if I can find it a little later. There is too many casinos and...well, you said it yourself, it's the wild west :)

If they have in a forum that’s lovely, but as a player why didn’t I get a email telling me about this?. Surerly that’s ethical businsss practice?..
the nature of my work means sometimes for weeks a time i can’t access casinomeister, it shouldn’t be down to posting on a forum how customers find out about this, we all are the first to jump down the throats of players whom don’t do their own due diligence, surerly casinos should be held to the same standards.

Absolutely! I was furious when I found out. They were two different reps and suddenly one started to post for the other casino. I questioned them but it was another member who knew they had been bought up and told us. That didn't come from the casinos. It's many of them who do a really bad job with informing us. We can't do more than keep on questioning them though and hope they learn.

Totally agree.
Just want to know if me having a active redbet account will be a problem, that’s all.
If so then I’m fine with that as it’s a business decision on there side.
I’d just hate to think I deposited and won a decent amount it would be taken away due to this.
Anyway I’ve PM’d the rep so I’ll await a response either via that or on here.
It’s not a complaint so no reason others cannot comment on here.
A simple email telling me of this from either mr green or redbet would of been great easily solved lol :)

Yep.

Mr Green acquired the Evoke Gaming platform last February (Which includes Redbet/WinningRoom etc...) and neither informed thier player base.

They operate under a separate license; which I think should not be allowed as they can exploit customers and circumvent Responsible gaming regulations this way.

One thing is certain, if you are excluded from one you will get excluded from the other when they start taking a shit load of money from you first, then when you are well behind they will hit you with the account closed Email and leave you feeling more than a little pissed off from not being told or informed about this takeover.

That’s what I thought 110% without actually saying it.
I’m also a whitebet (winning room) member also.
It’s pretty abhorrent practice and far from decent behaviour from the casinos in question.
Having to do your own research about merging brands/casinos etc is pretty poor practice.
If I had deposited and won my retirement fund they would have pulled a past self exclusion term from there ass and taken every penny...
I’m not saying that’s the case as no rep has clarified this yet.
But sadly I’d think it would of been the case, the ratings IMO should be looked at regarding what I’ve addressed, it’s far from fair to players.
If I’d had a email regarding this then fine, it’s down to me having a account with said casinos to check terms and conditions.
I’ve never had a email from any, so I would have had zero idea.
Pretty shitty behaviour.
Hopefully a rep will chime in and clarify this, as not every casino player is a member here, what are them folks supposed to do?.. just get screwed over for something they had zero idea about...

May I ask if you have tried to log in to any of those accounts?
Maybe you are stopped immediately and won't have a chance to make a deposit. Maybe they think that is the way to tell people:rolleyes:

Of course, and only mr green am I locked out of.
That’s why I’m here questioning it all.
Also at redbet I still get free spin offers that I’ve no issue using.

Well good luck getting a response from the rep here. Mr Green/Evoke gaming Email staff are the most unresponsive of all the casino's out there. You get a response every 36 hours or so if you are lucky. The rep here for them is the exact same, unresponsive and couldn't honestly give a single shit.

Thier Live chat are fine but never resolve issues and just give generic "I understand it's frustrating, we'll escalate the matter" responses. They only way to get things sorted with them is to ring thier customer services.

I had an issue in the last 14 days where I deposited £30 to Mr Green (Account has since been reopened) using Skrill, the money didn't show in my account and I got an error saying "Transaction Failed", yet the money was taken from my Skrill account.

Mr Green continued to insist the transaction was unsuccesful and that the money would show up back in my Skrill account. I had to contact skrill who gave me a merchant reference ID which proved they had the money in thier accounts, yet the STILL lied to me and said "No it will go back to Skrill and it's showing as unsuccesful".

It wasn't until I rang customer services that I got my money added to Mr Green account 5 DAYS later. The bloke on the phone, Cormac, asked if I wanted to phone back later and I insisted no I wanted this sorted here and now.

So a bit of advice. Don't contact thier Email, Live chat or even the rep here; get on the phone to them.

As for you queries about playing at one if self exluded from the other, just do yourself a favour and save yourself the hassle and the money. As I said you WILL get self excluded from the other at some point after depositing a ton or 2. The only reason you haven't been excluded at the other yet is because you haven't played and lost money there, which they are 100% waiting to happen before proceeding with the closure.

As for getting paid if you managed to win, it's a slippery slope and I would like to imagine you would be, but wouldn't bet on it with this lot!

Edit: Forgot to mention I sent the rep here a PM at the time and made sure he was online when I sent it.

He ignored it, so I popped onto the current thread he was on and replied to one of his posts to see if I could divert his attention to my PM (Once again while he was still online), he also ignored that and logged straight off and they still didn't have the decency to respond in any manner...which makes me ponder why they even have a presence here at all.

Think Mr Green bought Redbet?
Yes, as confirmed by Dunover - they merged last May.

There is now a rumour going round that the group might be about to be bought out by William Hills... :(
That probably wouldn't effect players much - but affiliates look out!
