Really Bad Run.. Advice?

Normally I consider myself pretty lucky with online gambling.

However for at least four months, I have hit nothing. No big wins, no withdrawals just a continual heavy streak of losses. My biggest slot feature payed 20x..

What is the best way to break this painful run?

If you have friends you can talk to, do it. If not stop playing.

Could I ask what casino you play at (Microgaming, NetEnt, Playtech), and what games you tend to play? (243 ways, 9 line 25 line etc?) My tonic was a shift from Microgaming stand alone casinos (viper software) to web based NetEnt/Microgaming casinos. I had very bad run to on that game playboy on golden 32 red group despoited last 3 weeks loss 300 same with nedplay. Best to set yourself a limit so you don't over spend etc always the best advice. Give it a rest for a few weeks

If you're losing money you can't afford or have budgeted for, you'll not have a happy Christmas unless you stop now. If you need a win for a happy Christmas you're already in trouble. Don't chase losses. All the best.

You have come to the right place and done the right thing making this post, OP. So many times people will write about their losses, complaining that they can't win, which then is soon followed by them hitting a big win. If your taking losses you can't afford best to take a break. Otherwise re-evaluate your gambling strategy.

I have had to change my playstyle and expectations recently after a few bad losses. With games like immortal romance,GOT,playboy,TS2 I find I will set a limit I am willing to lose before I switch because those type of games will just eat your balance if you let it. Its always an up and down rollercoaster but thats the thrill of the chase.

My biggest issue is knowing when to cash out and thats something I'm still working on lol. I seem to get into alot of profitable positions only to lose it all because I think I can get more and then when I don't its like 'OK I must be due for bonus round or a big win soon' that never comes. Its a work in progress but I am switching between lots of netent/MG slots now so I can at least enjoy playing.

At the moment I am hooked on SouthPark ReelChaos its got a great bonus game and 4 random base game features - one of the most fun slots I've played.

I had a great couple of months there playing my usual 4 or 5 high variance MG slots but had 6 or 7 losing days and was slowly giving back a chunk of my winnings.Its gambling and we just have to take the good and bad and be sensible. Ive taken a few days away from playing and i am still in profit but sometimes if you try chasing the losses it will bite you in the bum.
We all need a few extra bucks at this time of year and i would not rely on getting them from playing slots.

Either you're not playing very much, or you're playing really shite games... or you've just been incredibly unlucky!
I can't believe that you seriously haven't got more than x20 for four months if you're playing any decent volume of spins.
I would say I get a feature over x20 just about every day - and I only average about an hour of play per day - maybe a bit less.

Others have already given some great advice; try some different games, and if money is tight, take a break.

Not saying you walk away a winner on those slots but I would find it near impossible to get several bonuses that all pay less than 20x.

Unbelievably I played 50 spins without one star in sight and not even one win of any sort. 50 spins without even a 10p payout. Never saw that before and probably never will again. I have not changed anything over the last four months, and I have not been playing money I cannot afford to lose don't worry. When I said I wanted a happy Christmas, I just meant because winning makes me happier .

I think maybe I should try a new site.. I used to play on Betvictor most of the time, but recently changed to Guts, and sadly my luck there just will not change.

I have had runs like this before but never so bad! I am deadly serious on that no more than 20x wins though, seriously, I have had so many features that have paid between 5-10x the last couple months.

You're not alone, having a terrible run myself at the moment with IR, every deposit seems to be swallowed up within 20-30 mins with bonus rounds (when I manage to hit them) paying no more than 20x.

As others have said, best to take a break than keep throwing money at the casino.

Hm, for months no win over 20x bet? How is that even possible?? How can you have no win over 20x bet over months? That's not possible.... Which games do you play?

Are you really on worse run than me though? two examples I can give are £80 sunk on JATB with only 20p bets(no feature) this happened within 30mins. Or how about my 12mins of pain on Game of thrones 15p bets £20 gone one feature and best hit a miserable 3.50 or something. That my friend is running bad lol!

As for advice I would say either budget yourself or take a breather. You could set yourself a challenge like I did a few months ago only to lowroll(min bet size max lines) and when you double the deposit cashout and either move to next casino or leave it for another day or and of the week when you set incentives and post said incentive on a forum such as Casinomeister you;d only be cheating yourself if you break your challenge it really worked for me and at min bet you can still win alot on some games I think I begun with £20 and doubled up every day and finished the week +£100
