Random, Random Jackpot Question/Concern

Hey guys. So, I am specifically speaking about Club World, however, you can also add in Rushmore if you wish. They both have "instant play option" which I have to use because I am on a mac. Years ago I hit a random jackpot on a PC (downloaded software) and the balloons and all pop up, etc.. very exciting! ... Since I have played on my mac, no RJ.

Has anyone ever hit one, on instant play? ...without the downloaded software? Seems it would be hard to have something "pop up" on a web-based window like instant play.. and.. what if you have a pop-up blocker?

I can't comment on whether anyone has won a RJ using instant-play, but I can say that there would be absolutely no problem with a popup appearing in an instant-play casino.

Most people do have a popup blocker built into their browser software these days, but that only works for regular website popups.

A popup-blocker could not prevent a popup in an instant-play casino, because an instant-play casino is using Flash to display the casino, and popup blockers can't block Flash popups.

Basically whatever happens in a Flash application is completely under the control of the Flash application developer. So if an instant-play casino wants to create a popup, it's unblockable.

One example, I see Flash popups regularly when I'm given free promo spins at NetEnt casinos.

So you shouldn't worry about missing a RJ popup when playing instant-play due to it being blocked.

On the other hand, I can't comment on whether it's equally likely that you'll win a RJ when playing instant-play, I'm sure an expert can answer that :)

Another question about random jackpots and Rushmore, since the OP mentioned that casino.
I can honestly admit that I still play their free tournament on weekends, and those times I have won I have seen that some of their RJ's is between $30 000-$90 000.
We all know that it's a bad Rogue casino and what I'm thinking is if they ever pay out those RJ's?
Can they shut the function down so it will never go off, maybe have a few small ones from time to time, but no huge?
They don't seem to be able to pay small winnings so how would they be able to pay one of those?

When I started playing a few years ago I could find those huge RJ's at some other of the Rouge casinos, and for me that always felt like a warningsignal.
Am I thinking wrong here or what are your thoughts?

I won two RJ's on CWC while on Flashplay. Paydirt $2700 and minor on Builder Beaver for I think $400. All last month within 2 weeks of each other. Deanna

Dogboy has told us that RTG casinos can choose whether the RJ amount is set to start at 1000$ (or the same amount in another currency) or 5000$.

Alternately, operators may choose to have a higher reset (e.g.: $5000), with same increment, and a proportionately lower trigger chance, in order to maintain the same RTP as the standard.
Some info here!

No! I don't think so! If they could, ALL RTG casinos are rogue! I don't think they are, I like the platform too much to believe so.

They don't seem to be able to pay small winnings so how would they be able to pay one of those?

They probably can't. They will check your account to see if they can blaim you in any way possible, if you are totally legit they will stall. Then stall...then stall...

BTW, Dogboy was online today. He has really contributed a lot here in the past. I hope he will continue his posting soon. :)

Thanks for that answer maphesto:thumbsup:

Probably there are more than me that have wondered about those huge RJ's at some casinos.
You gave at least an answer that can be the reason. "a lower triggerchans"

I do want to believe in both the casinos and the software provider, but as we know it's not always black or white.
At least it feels good to know that there is always somewhere I can go to ask my questions.:)

:D I really love it when I see fellow swedes use "swenglish" in text, because I often see myself do it. :p Dogboy wrote "trigger chance". ;)

It should be just one word. Why do they have to be so special all the time? They can't even hold their words together:mad:

Agree totally! And chance should be spelled like the swedish word chans.

/End derail

To topic again:
It can be worth to tell that it's the casino who contributes with the "start money" on RJ:s which makes it perfectly understandable that it's a lower triggering chance at the Rushmore brands. Same RTP in the end.
