Rabcat Content to Microgaming Operators

"The first of Rabcat’s games to go live with Microgaming is Castle Builder™, a five-reel slot launched in 2013 that introduced the truly innovative level-based-slot™ feature to online gaming. Castle Builder is scheduled to go live in January 2015."

(No idea how they store game progress, but hopefully it will be a more robust solution than seen by UK players with games like IR, TFROL, TSII etc).

It's about time the download client got some of this. So far, it has only been Quickfire that has been offering third party developer games. Other than the old Fruit machines, which I am sure were third party developed, only in house games have been made available in the download.

Unlike the case with the fruit machines, we have a press release telling us in advance about a third party supply agreement, and what we might expect to see from January 2015.

It's also interesting to know that their download client is capable of supporting third party games in a more general sense, so maybe we will see more than just the Rabcat games in time. How about "Today's Weather" in the download, most say it's crap, but as a weather themed slot it should be granted special exemption and included ASAP:D

Absolutely agree about a wider variety of content in the download product.

If you have a look around, you will find some 3rd party games already there. I don't recall any announcements about it, but see below for example. Crocodopolis (a game from NextGen) in 32Red download client. From memory, it's been there for (at least) 12 months...

Not sure how many others are there, but another NextGen I've also found is 'Dr Love'

Lol re "Today's Weather" & perhaps whilst waiting, you should be playing "Vinyl Countdown"?! ;)

I did see Dr Love, but thought it was an oddity, the only third party game in the download. The rest I just assumed were in-house MGS because I don't really play other software, and when Microgaming get such games, they "lose" their third party branding and become "powered by Microgaming", the same as their in house developments.

If the client has been able to support third party games for the past year, there may have been more. It seems they are sneaked in with the publicised new releases, so we don't hear about them.

I have only recently come across another multi provider platform that claims to offer a download client alongside it's browser based portfolio that has "a selection of our games from different providers". It was the first time I had seen a multi provider download client clearly described as such.

I had always considered Dr Love to be a Playtech game, but it them made an appearance at the old Cryptologic Intercasino. Only recently did I spot it in a Microgaming viper client.

Is this game super low variance or something? It was removed from 32red for the purposes of wagering a bonus. It now counts to 0% of weighting for wagering. I must admit I have not really played it that much, I cant see there being much benefit in this, could it be due to the fact the game is not made by MG?

Because it has accumulative bonuses which can be gotten 'ready' with bonus funds.
Like using bonus to play TR2 at £3 a spin until you get 4 passports, then saving it for real money play and dropping your stake to get the averaged bonus reward.
