R.I.P Mom/Lisa

Dear Paolina,

Your mother was an exceptional person that touched the hearts and minds of everyone that crossed her path. I was privileged to be able to call her a friend and have always thoroughly enjoyed our often lengthy conversations. Lisa was a passionate person, not just passionate about her opinion, but about doing the right thing. She had a big heart and was fighting just so you and all of us could live in a world where people still fight for what is just.

Most passionate however, she was about you. Nothing in this world was as important to her as you, and she thoroughly enjoyed the time she got to spend with you. I spoke to her after she went on Halloween walk with you last year and she told me that walk with you must have been the single happiest moment of her life. She was so proud of the person you are becoming and would speak with great admiration of your artistic skills. She would have moved the planet just to see you happy.

Your mother was a fighter, and from what I hear - you are to. Please always remember how exceptionally much your mother loved you, and use that love whenever you feel you need it.

My sincere condolences ..

Enzo & team.

I just found out this news a few minutes ago and I'm reeling in shock. Pina was one of my favorite posters here. At first she scared the hell out of me. :D:D She was so smart and so knowledgeable and so passionate about right and wrong. Over the years we would connect from time to time and whenever we did, we'd have wonderful conversations, sometimes about online gambling, sometimes just about life. We even had a few occasions to converse by phone and I enjoyed that immensely.

I know without one doubt in my mind, how much she loved you. You were her life and she was so proud of you Paolina. Every conversation we had that wasn't about online gambling was peppered with you, and her love for you could not have been greater. I know she is still with you, forever in your heart.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Paolina, and my heart breaks for you. I will keep you in my thoughts and my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear this. I have always enjoyed her posts. She had alot of wisdom and her advice has helped alot of people on this forum. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My sincere condolences.

I'm sorry to say that I avoided this thread for a while because I (incorrectly) assumed it was Pina announcing _her_ mother's death. I lost my father a few years ago and found it a pretty rough thing to deal with. Ever since I've been hesitant to step in and offer words when it happens to someone else.

Now I find that it's Pina herself that has passed away and I am stunned. She was the real thing: smart, serious about gaming, eyes wide open, no BS, always helpful and didn't ask for much in return, tough when necessary and wise in knowing when a little peace was most needed. As good as it gets really.

We've shared a good number of years together on the forums and I respected her, very much valued her thoughts and opinions. She will be missed by those of us who knew her and the noobies don't know what they're missing. Adious Pina. And condolences to her family for what I know too well is a huge loss.

Sad! Have seen and known Pinababy some years on forums now, this came as a chock. I read her last post and couldn't understand what she meant. :( She was always right and always close to a laugh.

I just heard about this from another CM member today, and I was saddened and shocked to learn of Lisa's passing.

I first got to know Lisa over ten years ago, and through the years, we had numerous conversations and discussions about the gambling industry, and life in general.

Lisa was very articulate, very intelligent, and extremely passionate about things she believed in.

Rest In Peace, my friend.

Paolina,

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Your mother was a wonderful person. May she rest in peace.

May I offer up my condolences also...I am utterly stunned and saddened by this news...the world has lost one of its "bestest" citizens...and again to reiterate what ohters have already posted, the online gaming world has lost an integral component to the community. She loved you so very, very much ...may her love for you and the many memories you have of her help guide you in what life has in store for you...

RIP Lisa

I pray dear Lord that you shower your love and healing touch down on Lisa's family as they struggle with going about their daily lives without her presence. May you help guide her daughter, reminding her when she needs it most, of her mother's love for her. Amen

rest in peace Pina , you will be missed by all were all enriched from your acquaintance god be with your spirit and peace with your family
