Hi guys

Just a quick question for you US peeps. Had an email from a player today I'd like to answer: what is the best advice you could give to a first-time casino player from North America on the best method to deposit with at Club USA Casino? Is signing up for QT still the best route?

Many thanks,

Simmo!

Deposit with a prepaid debit card. Withdraw via QT.

Thanks guys. Leads me to another question then: for someone who may never have come across pre-paid cards before, are they easy to get in the US and are they normally something like Visa? Can you get them over-the-counter in banks for example and are there hoops to jump through?

Cheers

Go to wiredplastic.com and sign up for one, its free and its a visa, you can then take it to any western union or moneygram store and load it, its 3.95 to load and 45 cents per trans. there are no monthly fees, i also use my card to pay bills and get that Starbucks fix every morning:D, i myself prefer wired plastic over netspend as i have had troubles with them in the past holding funds, never a problem with wired plastic, hope this helps................laurie

In my area, most mini markets have Netspend prepaid (reloadable). Just go in and buy a temporary card. Load it at the checkout counter. Go online and register your address and other information. They will mail you a new card with your name on it. But you can still used the temporary card to make any type of purchase.

I have a Visa with my local bank (it also gives cash back at the end of the year and yes so far casino purchases are counting). I deposit with that and withdraw to QT. So far, so good:thumbsup:

Tell them not to use their bank account at all to make purchases from quicktender. I've had one account closed and had to get another and tried last night to fund via quicktender and it was declined so I just use my netspend to fund...transfer to quicktender then wired plastic...the members in here informed me of how to do it and so far so good.

It is not necessary to leave your home, hospital, prison, jail, lol or similar to have to deposit. If I had to do that, eff it but to each his own.:)

Edit:as 12-1-09 approaches, depositing especially via the use of a debited bank account via an ewallet will become much tougher as I found out in September before I was sentenced to prison for 36 days, ok the hospital. That said, I just said "tougher" but not impossible!!

I agree with 'deposit w/prepaid and w/d to QT'.

a note here about availability of prepaid cards that work... if the member lives in a small town, they might not be so easy to find. Only a year or so ago, Cash Advance opened up here in town. They sell and load the NetSpend Visa cards. I like loading the card at the same place... I see the same one or two employees every time.

WalMart sells a prepaid card that is GreenDot. Some seem to have had success using it at online casinos. I never had one that would work.

Quicktender is the best and the one I rely on but does this person already have a quicktender account? because you have to be invited to use quicktender. If they do not have an account they could sign up at ewalletexpress or go to www.netspend.com and get a card to use.

How does one get invited - can a casino sort that out? Also, I'm assuming you can't withdraw to a prepaid, is that right?

She has to do what Laurie said if she was never invited. Just mail the casino she plays and tell them she wants to use quicktender for her deposits and withdrawals from now on. Hopefully this person will get a quick reply with the invite to quicktender. As they wait for a reply, it wouldn't hurt for them to sign up at ewalletexpress. You can withdraw from there to, there fee's are a bit higher when you withdraw, but here in the U.S. it is good to take advantage of every option we have while it's still available especially if they want to Play Rival casinos. The only choice for withdrawals at Rivals are Quicktender, ewalletxpress and click2pay ( and you know click2pay does not accept new U.S. players) To withdraw at other Casinos with a card she can do it with Netspend. Send them to the site www.netspend.com and it explains how to withdraw with their card.

Ok, so am I understanding this correctly? You deposit funds into your prepaid visa from online/or locations where they do this, then you deposit to QT from the Visa card you just loaded..and when you win withdraw to QT to ??? where???? Back to the card? Your Checking account? Where??

Right now, I am using my debit card depositing into QT from my checking account (my gambling one), then withdrawing from QT back into my checking account.(gambling one)

Please explain how this prepaid visa works a little better.
Thank You! I got lost somewhere!

well.
it has not been explained very well yet.
You buy a debit card(netspend) to any check cashing store or winn dixie or check on line where to buy one..... or go on line for a wiredplastic card....than you can deposit with the cards (whichever of the 2) at any casino....you dont need to deposit first at QT....you can deposit directly to a Casino and avoid the 5% QT charges you for a credit card deposit.
Now if you win (rare) you can withdraw to QT ( I would not tho) and pay 30 bux( flat fees)for a withdraw....or just ask the Casino for a check to be sent to your address and you wont pay a dime for it....unless you ask for a withdarawal every 5 minutes....lol( and I doubt you do)

@Laurie
you probably have not noticed yet, that wired plastic do charge you monthly fees too....????
...and charges you 95 cents everytime you dare to call customer service to speak with a LIVE customer service rep....
Ive had one of each for the last 3 years.... so I know.

I was about to start a new thread on this Dec1st deadline approaching. I am sort of paranoid.
First, wont QT have the same problem as netteller etc in sending monies to our Bank Account via wire transfer? I feel like emptying out my account now and wait till next year but don't know if I can wait that long for action

Secondly, since NETSPEND and Wired Plastic are also "BANKS",wont this also be a problem sending money toGambling institutions online?
This greatest of all countries , most powerful, most richest, most democratic of all and I have to worry about spending and receiving a few hundred bucks where I want to and when I want to Geesh!!
