I don't want to mention the casino but I still feel as I need to ask for guidance.
I selfexluded due to gambling issues that where acknowledge by the casino upon SE in 2014.
2016 I ask for opening up account, I had a relapse. And the casino did this, opened my account without any questions. They said they saw that I told them I played to much before and if that happens again I should contact support team.
Are they correct in this?
Hope its okey to post this generic, but I don't want to say the name as I still hope they will take responsibility and another look at this.. it feels so not responsible from their end.

Thanks for reading..

2014/2016 is pretty much ancient history for SE issues. The rules have changed markedly since then. It sounds to me like you're trying to apply today's rules to yesterday's problem and my bet would be that that ain't gonna fly.

That said, feel free to take it to their designated ADR or the licensing jurisdiction. You'll get your answer there.

I'm not trying too apply today's rules, I'm actually thinking of the rules at the time of opening should be enough..

Yes but my account was opened 2016 and the representative that opened my account said he/she saw that I had problems but still opened it.. 2016 isn't that faar and Responsible gambling was regulated by then.. even though it's a while ago, should it really matter that much?

Its regarding playing from the opening 2016 until late 2018 if this has any impact on my case.. would this be anything I can issue a PAB on?

The problem would seem to be that presumably the original exclusion had expired and you asked for it to be re-opened. I’m not sure of the rules at the time, but if they weren’t required to do any additional responsible gaming checks at re-opening, you’re unlikely to get far.

Out of interest, as this happened 3-4 years ago, why has it become an issue now?

So why wait 4 years to ask.

It makes it look like you have saw all the recent SE crap and players getting refunded and thought might as well chance my luck as well.

Nope. Case is too old, like I said earlier. Take it to their ADR or the licensing jurisdiction.

I didn't wait 4 years, I played until late 2018.. I wasn't capable to do this when I closed my account again in 2018 I'm afraid, personal reasons..

I want to clarify that I'm not trying to scam or be unjust. I really believe a mistake has been done and I've been very affected by the opening of my account.
I haven't read these complaints and stuff, before I filed my complaint I hadn't read much at all. But during my wait for an answer to the reply I did allow of reading.. although I found casinomeister 2 days ago and never heard of this site before so I wouldn't know about such..

Again, thanks for the reply! I really appreciate it!
Sorry if I'm asking silly questions, but is it to old even if my last closing is in December 2018? For PAB I mean..
Okey, but the responsibilities for gambling on 2016, at that time, do you know what's they said then?

I'll say it for a third and final time: case is too old, rules have changed, take it to their ADR or licensing jurisdiction.

Would like some input.
I SE'd due to gambling problems. A while later I reopen my account. The support said when opening account that they know I was closing for gambling addiction and I should tell them if it happens again. Lost very much ofcourse. Once I was asked if I have my gambling under control. Ofcourse I said I did. I was in denial.
My question is - did or did not the casino make a breach when opening my account. Even if they a year later asked if I was in comfortable with my playing?
As a gambling addict, as with any addiction. Once telling I have an addiction should be enough to protect me forever with that casino.. but am I right?

I see you are in Sweden. Did you sign up with Spelpaus? If you haven't I suggest you do so now.

When this happened, your SE and re-opening? Were some of them prior SGA license, other words before 2019 when there were no SGA license existing?

If both happened before SGA, there's not really much to do probably as if you answerred you are ok to gamble, MGA probably don't make mess about it. If these both happened after 1.1.2019 (SE and re-opening) you might have some more hope as SGA is known to be quite strict with self-exclusions.

MGA let them to be opened whenever requested (except some really clear gambling issues but you said you were ok to gamble and that's usually enough for MGA) with 1 or 7 days cool off.

This was during mga only. I never said I was fine when I opened my account. They never asked either when opening. Only a year after..

Sorry, just understood from this that you did:

Once I was asked if I have my gambling under control. Ofcourse I said I did. I was in denial.

But with MGA there are hardly any accounts you couldn't get opened, depends of year when it happened, they might have to make you wait 24h or 7 days, but in general don't really see high hopes to anything happen.

If you think you are threatened wrong, you can always give a go to MGA but would think if you really have a strong case or not. MGA at least do handle player complaints, even self-exclusion and problem gambling related which most of other regulators don't touch at all.

Here's link to complaint form if you wish to use it:
