Just a quick announcement that Purple Lounge is back in the Accredited Section. Max and I had a meeting with their CEO in London and she is obviously committed to her players. The issue that transpired here was eventually resolved in the player's favor, and we see eye-to-eye on the Casinomeister's Philosophy.

Cool, read it in the CM awards. Could the thread be updated with possibly a few words from you?

Then you should rolleyes :rolleyes: at nearly every MGS, Playtech and RTG casino out there; it's in nearly every casino's terms and conditions. What is important is how this term is applied. In the situation that Purple Lounge was in with their Greek player, it was applied unfairly. The casino eventually agreed, paid the player, and that was it.

This term is still a trapping one. It´s no problem to implement a warning that a withdrawel is not possible due to not fullfilling the requirements.
A casino that uses this term is only hoping for a mistake of the player to get their losses back.

No I haven't changed my opinion, it's still predatory in nature. I'll see if this can't be changed.

It shouldn't even be necessary, since the casino software can either be set to allow withdrawal with bonus sacrifice, or to block withdrawals altogether whilst there is any bonus balance left.

This term may only be needed on other parts of the site, where the software cannot automatically block the withdrawal.

A reasonable modification would be to return withdrawals back to the account with a note that xxxx more needs to be wagered. If a player persists in attempting to "get one over" by repeatedly trying to withdraw before meeting WR, they should either be threatened with an "administration fee", or told they will be kicked out of the casino or bonus banned.

The previous view shown by PL was that they might as well close accounts rather than bonus ban, because they felt there would be no point in a player continuing to play without the bonuses. This is NOT a good message to send out, as it implies bonuses are so essential, that no right minded player would ever consider playing without one.

I signed up yesterday thru CM and made a nice profit on SUB.

Support is friendly but totally clueless I'm afraid. I emailed them to get a wagering figure and after 4 emails back and forth and being given figures ranging from $92 (after an hour playing slots ) and "your wagering requirements are 50x25 " which isn't what I asked for in the first place. In the end I just added up playcheck which is a PITA. If they used the clearplay system it wouldn't be an issue.

Let's hope the cashout process is less exasperating.

PL seems to be doing OK business-wise - from the latest Mediacorp report:

Purple Lounge revenues showed an increase of 15.1 percent to GBP 3.8 million (Q1/2010: GBP 3.3 million)

It turns out that they had updated the bonus term that was applied to that player, but didn't update the rest. The terms should be updated now to the following:

Withdrawal requests made before the wagering requirements have been met will be rejected until such a time as the wagering requirements have been satisfied. In the event that any withdrawal request is accepted before the wager requirement has been completed, the players bonus and any and all winnings to that date, will be forfeited. Any exceptions to this rule are made at the sole discretion of Purple Lounge.

If you want to know your bonus vs cashbalance at Purple Lounge, you can view it when you click 'My Account', then 'View and redeem loyalty points'.
On the right it shows your cash and bonusbalance.

But please beware that I've noticed that this hidden form of ClearPlay sometimes not updates in real time.
Best is to restart the casino before you check.

Hope this saves you some future emailing back and forth.:)

GoWild has 29x bonus WR, PL has 25x bonus WR.

GoWild has 29x bonus WR, PL has 25x bonus WR.

Unfortunetaly the WR for the first deposit bonus is 40x, otherwise i would give them a chance :p

am I reading that wrong?

if you make a w/d without stisfiying the WR, and they accept it (somehow) even though the software should catch it and it get processed anyway, then the player loses out?

Load of bollocks. The "standard" is simply a default that comes with the software. Operators can set whatever parameters they like, and whatever game weightings they like.

Mine at JF is set to 15x (I'm a VIP), and it tracks fine under the standard clearplay system.

I am sure PL DID start running clearplay in the casino before the change of ownership, sp if it isn't there now, they have taken it away.

This other form they have may well be a non-standard application of Clearplay using THEIR software, rather than the Clearplay system supplied by MGS.

They may even have made the change BECAUSE the MGS version let them down over the Greek player's issue. It is also possible they CANNOT use Clearplay to set different WR based on deposit method, so have introduced their own system that CAN cope with this.

I know that Clearplay can work on "player class", but this would NOT be suitable for controlling differing WR on individual deposits.

Update.

Docs were requested within 2 hours of cashout and were approved an hour later. Neteller payment received 24 hours after that.

I am impressed and would rate them 9/10....they lose a point for the less-than-helpful CSR's.

The term is STILL predatory in nature... They remove the clause, but throw in a curve ball. They obviously decide who gets paid. This term could be used to forfeit winnings... It should be changed...

Bad people never change but they might act different when they have a watchdog on their head. I believe it is better Purple-Lounge will be Casinomeister approved even if it holds this term, nobody care about the terms, we should care about actions. It is like caring about what girls say, nope, care about their actions only.


Regarding what Purple-Lounge did, here is my cut of tea.

Purple-Lounge are bad and tricky, I mean the people there, they said lets wait a year, the player would be disappeared, we will lie Casinomeister saying the player was paid, don't worry they have the excuse in case he catch them, the excuse can be oh we spoke about another Greek Player or god know what.


This is the way they operate, only a watchdog can help, so better they will be accredited, but first have to pay the player

4. Players claiming a bonus using a deposit via either Moneybookers or Neteller must wager at least 25 times the bonus amount. Residents of Greece and Canada must wager 110 times the bonus amount regardless of the payment method used. It is the sole responsibility of the player to ensure he or she has met the wagering requirements before cashing out. Players who withdraw before meeting the requirement will have the bonus and all winnings removed.

Just joined before some hours at PL, and when i saw that Greek players need to wager 110! times the bonus i just uninstalled. That's not fair for all. What's the difference for Canadian and Greek players to others? We're all players...

I´ve been ucky enough to win - at some free games they put in my account.. I withdrew 2 days ago, sent my documents in that same day. Stil have not heard that they have been exepted or not, and no money in my neteller.

I guess I just need to be more patient =)) All in all they seem ok so far - I just wish more casinos would have a speedy withdrawl policy!
