Hey guys sorry if this has been said before but i would just like some help on proof of id. I signed up to a new casino last night and ended up winning so when i sent over my id they are telling me that a provisional driving license cannot be used. I would just like to know if anybody else has heard of this and if so is there anything else i could do as i dont have a passport or id card i have always just used my provisional. Thanks

I personally have used my provisional driving license at a few casino's
as photo ID with no issue. So I really can't say why they are refusing it as a form of photo i.d. Maybe a picture of you holding it would be accepted. Explain to them that it is all you have, and ask what other options you have.

thank you for the reply. Yes i have also used my provisional at a few casinos with no problem but here they say as it gets discarded when you get a full license it is not an acceptable form of id. I do not have a passport but i have just got an email saying a photo of my birth certificate will do lets hope so anyway.

The provisional licence number can be run on verification websites in UK no issue, as i did it during a HMRC thing the other day, they're talking out their bottoms.

Thats good to hear. I have also used Birth Certificate as I.D before and it was also accepted so it should be enough for you hopefully.
