I started having problems logging into YIM about a week ago. It spat back an error code of 81003005, and wouldn't let me log in - on both my Vista laptop and XP desktop computers. My password was fine, because I was able to use another client (Pidgin) to login to my yahoo account without any problems. If you search google for this error code of 81003005, you'll get a ton of results of people trying to figure out how to fix this - with no solution in sight.
I finally found a fix for this:

Click on either I forgot my password or My password doesnt work, and follow the process.
Click on the link that is sent to you via email, and choose a new password. Viola. Error # 81003005 is solved.
It seems that whatever changes Yahoo made corrupted a ton of passwords, but yet the client doesnt tell you that your password is wrong and spits out some ambiguous error code and leaves you trying to figure out what the problem is.
