Very interesting thanks, would like to see more slots !

Drum roll please!!! :D
I'm 99.9% sure I've cracked reel 1 on Tomb Raider!
I developed a better way of doing it by sorting the data on an Excel spreadsheet. Still reckon it will take about 5-6 hours to do a complete slot though...

I was sure I mentioned theese some years ago, I know I told Zoozie how to. Cracking the reels is no problem at all, and you can do it perfectly since you get accuall reelpositions. All you need is that the game is inside the flash casino, since the reelpositions are transfered over http as XML. Get yourself a plugin for the browser, for IE HTTPWatch is a great tool. The same goes for the locally stored casino, you can sniff the TCP traffic here, but theese are probably encrypted packets which I have no knowledge of cracking. I think the tool is called windump, this will give you alle the reelpositions aswell for all games inside MG, or any other gamesystem (since the RNG is not local), but you will need knowledge to depack TCP packets.

Simply do the neccersary spins in flashmode to get all the reel positions you would possible want and you are off to bed with 100% wheel knowledge.

So drumroll for me please!

Exactly what i was about to ask. How did you manage to get all the reels symbols position ? I mean they spin so fast, especially MG. I could understand being able to do that on RTG, but not MG.

I would really like to have a database of the MG and RTG slots showing the numbers of symbols per reel and their position.

Btw. what happened to the www.gamblingtools.com homepage? It used to have several usefull applets like mine as well. In fact I wrote to them 1 year ago offering them my slot analyzer, but I never got any reply and a few months later the page was just the gambling link/affiliate site it is now.
It was gamblingtools.net, but it has, indeed, disappeared. Fortunately, the VP analyser is still available at
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

Endeed, and hos to say the fast showing reels are showing correct symbols at all? Infact if you look in the install directory you will find smered images for the spin animation - making it worthless. The animation is just for show - the reels then stop excactly where they are supposed to. Mapping reels with your eyes is plain stupid - and worthless.

All day, there's been 3 or 4 spammers now that are digging up 5 and 6 year old threads and filling up the whole freakin' "what's new" page 1 list

News must have got out that Bryan's on holiday! :(
Hopefully he hasn't taken all the other mods with him!

Mind you I have to say, old or not, this is one CRACKING thread and is what inspired me to create my SlotBeaters.com website!

Hey,

Any math wizard out there can come up with the % of hands that will be double downed playing basic strategy in most DOA, DAS blackjack game? For example Vegas strip blackjack on Microgaming (4 deck ,S17, DOA, DAS, peek). I guess my question isnt really about a percentage of hands but more so if I bet a million hands of $1 at that game, how much would I actually wager more then the $1m?

Dont know how many hands would be doubled down but in total you would wager about 140k extra. Includes also splits and resplits.
Initial to final bet ratio is 1.14 on Vegas Strip.

First of all, am I right in my calculations that if I play 200,000 hands of Jacks or Better, my chances of hitting a Royal are:

1-(1-1/44,000)^200,000 = 98.9%
The probability of getting a royal playing perfect JOB strategy (and not optimizing the strategy for RF's) is

p = 0.0000247583, or 1-in-40390.55.

So the probability of getting a royal in 200000 hands is:

1 - (1 - 0.0000247583)^200000 = 0.992938728, or 99.29%.

In 20,000 hands, the probability of getting a royal is

1 - (1 - 0.0000247583)^20000 = 0.3905336, or 39.05%.

Hey, this was very helpful. What about Vegas single deck blackjack on microgaming (1D, H17, D9, no DAS, peek)

Is it around 1.10?

Thanks in advance

Yes.

Without using composition dependent strategy for SD BJ the HE is actually higher (per wagered amount) than for Vegas Strip. The difference is very small tough.
