Anybody dealt with these guys? They've been sending me some emails lately and I visited their site, if nothing else, its visually appealing, and they seem to have a decent comp program.

I guess I'm curious because the spam I've been recieving from them has been about the most polite I've ever seen. Not much hype, just a description of their comp program and a reference to their signup bonus. After all of the over the top and deceptive marketing tactics we've seen, I guess its nice to have someone simply come out and just say "Try out our casino, you might like us"

It looks like they use playtech software, I've never used it before. Any thoughts on the playability, user interface and fairness of playtech software?

TIA!

There's a lot of stuff on Playtech in the archives here and at WOL, and I've seen enough posts to gather that many players don't like it. Of course some do!

In my experience Playtech is very reticent when it comes to responding to problems with their licensees - they just don't reply, and it is time they set up something like Montana to at least try and provide help to players who are dicked around at casino level.

Prestige had a good rep last time I looked and was on Boss software until last year when it changed to Playtech, together with sisters Diamond Club and Playgate. I'm not sure who the registered operator is now, but it was Prestige Gaming out of Antigua.

I agree on their rep. I can't recall seeing any complaint about those three casinos. They've always treated me fair. And I can't really blame them for switching software. I think Boss's problem is that their variety of games leaves something to be desired. Although they have introduced some decent video poker finally, it may be a day late and dollar short. (or whatever that expression is) Just look at all the clients who have left Boss in the last two years. Their client portfolio used to have about 30 (?) casinos. Now look what they've got. They just don't seem to get it. Their slot machines have got to be the worst. They NEVER get hit. Well, I should say they go for months and months without being hit. Contrast that to Cash Splash at Microgaming which gets hit every day or two. Again, I do not question their integrity, just their judgement.

Prestige has always seemed VERY player-friendly and I cannot recall ever seeing a player complaint. Good luck to them with their new software.

Most people know by now not to play here since their new management but couldn't bear to see a Prestige thread ending on a high note!

They treat their customers with open disdain and do their very best to screw them over at any opportunity. Terms attached to emails STILL do not mention that the bonus is removed on withdrawal. They reverse withdrawals at whim and ignore emails, even to their VIP manager. What you are told by livechat isn't worth the paper its written on and they are notoriously unhelpful, even by Playtech standards!

My most recent complaint is a reversed withdrawal on grounds of uncompleted WR (they claim I have done zero!). I had it confirmed before cashing out that I had met the WR and yet now livechat say I have to phone (an international number) to argue it out.

A joke of a casino

Weren't they just bought out by that Joyland Group?

I read that group merged with the Joyland group. I used to deposit at Prestige and thought there odds were fair(Boss Media and Playtech). I too had a problem with that reverse withdraw and say they are not over the wager requirements. I received a bonus from a deposit from Diamond club even though I received a first deposit bonus when they were Boss Media. Well they have no games and played blackjack, which used to satisfy wager requirement but not no more. I closed all my accounts with this group due to their involvement with Carnival who pulled the same stunt. I won't deposit at any of these casinos.
