    Hey all.

I have been approached by Victoria Bonner who is the head of marketing with the pragmatic company. She has recently worked with companies such as netent as an events manager. And she has invited me and my fiance to visit their offices in Romania and Malta.

There has been alot of grey area's about this company about who they are and what they are about and can they be trusted which can be read in parts of this thread https://www.casinomeister.com/forum...-raging-rhino-style-rip-off-4.html#post851379

I have been involved in researching their company and recently my fiance has gotten involved too as he is very aware of the gambling scene. Although he has never had an account here and was always more of a lurker, I have convinced him to become more involved especially considering pragmatic has reached out and offered him a chance to sit down with their company and ask the questions we are all curious about. He's not much for posting on social media and all that sort of stuff but I have pestered him to create an account here and join the community and after years of bugging he finally said he will sometime this week

I think it had less to do with me asking and more to do with him feeling like he should because pragmatic play has offered us/him such an enticing adventure. He may not post much as I think it might feel a little bit strange having a couple posting on the forum but nonetheless he will participate in this thread.

    What is Pragmatics offer?

They are offering a round trip to Romania and Malta to visit their offices. All costs will be covered by their company including accommodations.

    What I have requested?

I was initially the only one invited. But as a female 9000 km from home I felt very uncomfortable going to a foreign country to meet people I do not know and to stay there for a period of time. Victoria recognized this and extended the offer to my fiance so I would feel a tad more safe.

I requested that we be able to sit down with the knowledgeable people where we can ask the questions we all have about their company and get answers. Victoria instantly agreed and stated that is what she was hoping for.

I am incredibly excited for a journey like this. And I feel even more excited my partner can join me because he is quite knowledgeable about this stuff, probably even more so than me.

However, I have one thing in my way. And that is my work. I have recently been back to full time+ hours and since I am a manager in an essential part of our company it may be very hard for me to get away to do this. BUT I do feel confident I can get away for atleast 5-7 days (like a Weds-Weds) to visit one of their offices most likely the one in Romania. We have our owners coming in for a meeting in a couple of weeks so I will be able to sit down and request a little bit of time off.

But anyways, I just wanted to spill the beans on what has been offered to me. I will use this thread for updates and if I can go.. maybe some pictures and of course dialogue.

And once its confirmed I can go, I will ask the members here to ask questions to anything they may be curious about and I can ask the head of their business when I visit.

I do want to thank pragmatic play for such a wonderful offer and speaking with Victoria has been nice and welcoming. Pragmatic play could easily have said "well they can believe what they want, who cares". But it looks to me they care about their reputation so much so they are willing to let complete strangers come into their home and ask questions and inquire about things that may offend others.

Great opportunity, but a pity if you can't include Malta as well - there's so much to see and hear about there in both online gambling industry and tourism terms.

    Have fun in Romania.

I was born in Romania, further north of Bucharest, in Brasov. I am sure you will like it there.

While in Bucharest, make sure you visit the President's palace as it is the largest building in the world (at least it was at some point).

Bucharest was called once Paris of the East, beautiful city, badly damaged by over 40 years of communistic rule but resurrected and rebuild well since 1990.

Sounds like a great opportunity - I hope they have some nice meals plans. Whenever I visit someone's office, I think of what they are planning to feed me. :p

One of the best was at the GiG offices - the CEO's wife was a former chef on a cruise ship, and she was in charge of the company cafeteria cooking a daily lunch for the entire staff. :D

It's currently the second largest governmental building in the world... Second to the pentagon.

I believe you can also see the room where the kleptomaniacal Ceaucescus were shot in 1989.

I find this detail the most hilarious: "The underground parking has enough space for 20,000 cars!"

Not sure though about this, we were told at the time when they were about to start building it (I was in secondary school) that it will be the largest building in the world when all levels, above and under ground are counted together. He never finished it although he used 1,000's of military as free labor, many of whom died due to the lack of proper safety procedures. A life never counted much for Ceaucescu, unfortunately.

The main reason were his ever changing plans, an architect's nightmare. They had to demolish and restart quite a few sections of the building because he wasn't 100% pleased.

It sinks into the ground every year by 6mm due to the massive weight, with 84m height that means it will disappear in only 14,000 years.

EDIT: OK, got it: *The largest building for MILITARY use is the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, USA: it has a floor area of 6.5 million ft² (604,000 m²).
