Possible casino issue for US players

So I have a close friend of mine who registered with an online casino. She is working on a legal name change. The casino shut down her account after years of playing with them because the name on her ID did not yet match what she was using at the casino, she was using the new legal name. BUT she sent the casino the court order showing BOTH names and ID showing BOTH names. This could be an issue for those getting married and having legal name changes which in some cases can take years of document sending. Any thoughts? I know I had this issue with another casino awhile back (not calling out any casino on this). Wanting to get feedback from the community to try and help her. I know that I have reached out to the casinos I play on like ClubWorld and told them I'm working on legal name change and when my ID reflects that new name change I will send over to them and they have been really great about it. But this client/friend was totally honest with the casno, they still chose to shut down her account as a violation of terms and conditions. Thoughts? Ideas to help her?

As long as the casino doesn't owe her money, I'd simply advise her to play elsewhere.

If they do owe her money, advise her to PAB.

People marry, change their names back after a divorce, and sometimes change them for other reasons.

Many years ago a friend had a great deal of difficulty with HIS bank, and he and he wife both changed to using a hyphenated name. His answer was to change banks (and they did not try to withhold his funds, just refused to change the name on his accounts/cheques).

Yeah what Jasmine said. If they owe her money, PAB.

Seriously if a casino wants to be unreasonable like that, id tell them to take a hike. Name changes are a part of life so im not sure what world they live in.

Heaven help her if she also changes a phone # or address...

If it weren't for the fact that US players have so few choices as to where to play - and most are part of a casino group - I'd advise simply uninstalling the casino if they owe her nothing. However... If it's a decent casino in our Rep list here, she may want to join up at Casinomeister and contact a casino Rep, then PAB if no satisfaction.

Just a side note -- the personal and confidential info and papers she has already sent said casino creeps me out... I know most people working for accredited online casinos are trustworthy, but.... jeez... :eek2:

I'am gonna have to agree with Mousey. If the casino has these issue's with a good player just trying to play by their rules. I say man I don't like the vibes here. And move on,maybe some casino's just can't get by their own action's when it come's to being real about life's change's.

I changed my address about 5 month's ago but I use BTC as my deposit and withdrawal processor so the change only had to be approved at my Coinbase acct. NP there.Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff
