Hello guys....I have received an invitation from a casino that is supposedly going to be for "invitation only" players. The name of the online casino is Posh Casino. I did download it and the games are RTG. Anyone know anything about this?

There's a Posh Bingo run by Caesar's Entertainment but I doubt this is affiliated as CE wouldn't touch the US market for real money play and if it's RTG, it will be real money play. In fact, even if they did, they wouldn't use RTG.

Do you have a URL you could share? That might give us more info.

I also got an email from Posh Casino

** I can't find anything about this casino, so I won't deposit here.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD'S FIRST INVITE ONLY ONLINE GAMING ESTABLISHMENT
Hello,

We would like to invite you to Posh, the most exclusive place to play online. As soon as you create your account, it will be credited with a 500 USD chip that you can use to come in and try us out for absolutely nothing.

Unlike many other sites you may play at, Posh is exclusive. Seriously; we're not just saying that. Without an invite, no one gets in. No one. You, though? You're someone. And we know it. Because we cater strictly to VIPs like you, you are going to need an invitation code to get past the front door...

Your Exclusive Invitation Code: psh5606214

The group here at Posh, including your favorite host Eve, was put together with VIP players in mind, and we all aim to provide nothing but the very best in high-quality service and entertainment. In order to do that, we're keeping our list of clientele short and our list of services and perks long. Use your 500 USD to come in and see what we're all about.

Whether you visit us from your desktop PC, your tablet, or your mobile phone, you'll find all your favorite games, big (and loose) jackpots, and the best service you've experienced anywhere.

If you have any questions, or there is anything you need, you can either reply to this email, visit us by live chat, or you can call us at the number listed below to speak to Eve today. We can't wait to see you in.

Sincerely,

Eve

I didn't know if you wanted me to post it here or in private so if you don't want it here just remove it. They have called me several times. The games are RTG. Thank you.

Out of curiosity I used the code stated above (psh5606214) and changed the last three numbers to higher than 214 and I'm in. I could not find their licence.

Most of their T&C's are about "Personal Information", hence i think they are some sort of phishing site to collect personal details and sell them on.

Bloody hell Harry! I didn't hang about once I found they had no licence. Did you check to see if their games are legitimate?

Not familiar with RTG games or servers, the slot looks genuine. Anyone knowing the RTG servers? Is this one?

If not then the slots might be genuine but they run a pirated version.

I have no clue but the eu at the end suggests to me that its European Union ?

We complain about withdrawal times but I would not bother depositing anywhere if I lived in America given their payout times

Same here Colin..... 14-20 business days just to send a payment. I get the impression they are still using couriers on horses to get the money to the recipients. :D

Would never bother to sign-up, not in this lifetime. :D

And the couriers take a daily living allowance from your winnings before you get it

You'd normally expect the T&C's to indicate who you are dealing with (for legal recourse) but there seems to be no mention of it judging from the post above (when I click the T&C link it takes me to the homepage again). You should never gamble at a casino where you can't verify the legitimacy of it's ownership.

Therefore I agree with the concensus: stay away until more information is available to make an informed decision.

Not sure if this is related to the 'Posh Friends' who promote on GPWA but all their sites were hacked last month and the latest site which went live today 118long.com is buggered already.

Unless you see a recognised valid license like MGA or UKGA at the bottom of the page stay well clear.

£500 free chip?

I think the casinos do this hoping you hit a jackpot so they can pay you the max £25 on a no deposit.

Seriously, I'd vomit if I hit a jackpot with a free ND chip like that.

Withdrawal limit on a NDB is max. the amount of the chip.

You cannot play Progressive Slots when you take a bonus even after you cleared the WR. Progressive payouts done at the discretion of the casino, we know well what that means.

No connection with Posh Friends, which is the affiliate program for Pomadorro N.V. who own these properties:

The website is hosted on a server in San Francisco, CA with IP: 104.24.124.130, which does not give much either.

The RTG games seem to be genuine, the server pliuht.cdnpckgs.eu is indeed used by other RTG casinos. But then RTG supplies their games to anyone.

On of the worst things is though the lack of SSL encryption:

Digging around a bit it appears that the domain is cloaked, but an address I came across was in Mississauga, Ontario, and this associated gem for "PoshCasino.com" :

"About PoshCasino.com

Not sure that the two are connected.

Your getting too technical for me now Harry. What does all that mean please?

LOL Colin,

- the site is hosted on a server in SanFran with loads of other sites under the same IP. This is what Jetset rightly stated, meaning it is a cloaked IP making it very difficult to trace the owner of the site.
- no SSL encryption - typically anybody transmitting sensitive data, i.e. banks, casinos, etc. will encrypt it when in transit. You will see a lock in the top left hand corner of the browser. When you click on that you will see the details. If not encrypted then anybody in between can intercept that data. This website runs without, meaning just by registering and transmitting your personal and credit card details you could become a victim of identity theft. Or end up on a spam email list.
- owners of the site are not displaying their name and address - typical behavior of rogue casinos.

Oh I get you. Hence your suggestion that the site is geared towards pilfering and selling on personal details while the owner remains unidentifiable?
The chances of depositors getting their winnings must be zero. But I suspect a site such as this could only operate for a very limited time before closing down only to reappear under a new guise?

Yeah, coupled with their endless terms for handling "personal information" led me to the verdict that these guys are more in it for the personal information which they can then sell on at a great profit.

I suppose they will pay the odd player at the beginning to keep the money rolling and to stay under the radar of complaints sites such as CM, AG as most other rogue operations do. But i am sure they'll try every trick to make you play your winnings back or confiscate them because of some rules you had not adhered to. On top with a pending period of 7-10 business days they'll have a very high percentage of reversers.

Once the money flow stops they'll close shop and re-brand....rinse and repeat.

I am going to build my own rogue casino with a cardboard box and my arts and crafts stuff. I'm gonna be rich :D

Few of my findings,

Wayback machine shows a few interesting sites as well as redirects over the past 10 years, assuming Domain Ownership has not changed I found the license for one of the redirect sites:

One of the redirects goes to
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

Their gaming license is:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

The IP 104.24.124.130, is cloudflare DNS . The site has the default cloud flare SSL Encryption but they are not even using it.

Their Website is based on Wordpress, which itself is interesting.

I've tried to do a reverse lookup on the Google Analytics account but 4 websites say their GA ID is invalid UA-80276188-1;

I am still digging to see if I can find more info, however at this point it does not look promising.
