here's my grip with portofino/hamptons since you asked.
they sent me an email about a promotion. There were two codes. The first one worked fine, but I lost it all pretty quickly. The next one i tried to use the code but it didn't work. so i talked to their live chat who told me to deposit and would give me the bonus manually. i played and won $70 on top of the bonus.
Come cashout time, they told me I had "combined" the bonuses (wrong, I zeroed out and there was no combining) and thus my winnings were void. I pointed out that this was completely wrong. They came back 2 hours later with the old "You'
re on a negative database" list. If I was on this database (and there's no reason why I would be), why did the system give me the freebie? Why did the customer service rep give me the bonus manually and even encourage me to play there? And WHY send a personalized email to me about this promotion? And MOST importantly, WHY accept my deposit/play? Fact of the matter, I wasn't on any negative databases, and they made it up as a reason not to pay me.
It was a complete bait and switch, and to this day they still owe me $100.
Don't play at portofino's or Hamptons, they're scum.
