Poltava bonus round winnings not credited

Hi there,

I'd like to tell you what happened to me today. I deposited 30 EUR at Casumo and claimed 30 spins on Poltava, which was offered to me by Casumo. I played the spins and triggered the bonus round with the 3 lions, i can even remeber their exact positions when they triggered. It was a diagonal from left bottom to top right. So the bonus played quite good giving me about 14 quid on a 20 cent bet (as this was free spins from Casumo, it was of course min bet). Everything seemed fine, but when i finished the 30 free games only about 3 quid (which were winnings from the other 29 spins) were credited to my account. I immediately contacted support to demand clarification, but they just said all they see was freespin winnings of 3 quid so they escalated this matter to the game provider (Nyx).

I just received an answer from a representative of Casumo that they had been contacted by the game provider and the answer was that there was no bonus round or any freespin winnings of 14 quid, implying that i made this up. Just for your information, the 30 deposit was going pretty well and im way up on it, so I have no reason to make up stories to gain an extra 14 quid. Im losing a bit of faith in the gaming industry in this very moment. I once had an error on a netent game which could however be resolved after they checked their logs.

This time Im just left with a sour feeling that what you see is apparently not always what you get. :(

Be careful with Bonuses!
It is crucial  that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of any bonus that you accept. Most of the complaints that come through our arbitration service are bonus related; it would be safe to say that there are tens of thousands of players who have never complained because they realized after the fact that they did not understand or had never read the terms. Nothing in a casino is free – so whenever you see “free” being used, there are stipulations. It is important for you to understand that.

Please check out our Bonus Section that lists the offers given by our Accredited Casinos. No deposit bonuses, welcome bonuses (AKA sign up bonuses [SUBs]), exclusive bonuses, reload bonuses, free spin bonuses...all this and more!

This slot is different. If you bet under a $1 you only get a portion of what was won.

For example if you bet .60 and you win $30. You will only get $15.

Im not sure of all the payouts or the denoms but this explains what happened to you. They do this with alot of their games in including that toro game

Yeah its true lol.

It shows on the screen what you win and then they cut your win in half. I didnt know this either til I played it and had no idea what happened but then heard a streamer explain it a bit.

Check the paytable maybe it explains more

If thats the case then im sorry. But i find no hint in the paytable that this might be the case. Oh well, you see I dont often play Nyx as would have never opened a thread otherwise ;)

Well, it's not true that the win is cut in half or whatever, but the wins are shown in credits, and everything relates to 100 credits (Some f**ked up way to shown it for sure...)

You can read about it in the paytable and it's also stated in the top right corner that "Coins per bet 100".

Basically if you bet €1.00 per spin, what you see in credits is what you get in cents. So 100 = €1.00

If you won 1400 credits, this equals to €2.80 if your free spins had a value of €0.20 (Which is min bet). 1400*0,2 = 280.

I have no idea why they have made it this way, and they even offer you an option to turn off "Show as coins" in the settings, if you do that all wins will show in your currency as on a normal slot...

Lockinlove is not explaining it properly at all. If it displayed you won $15 at the bottom where it shows amount won then you did win $15.

The thing is, that all Elk Studios games have this weird thing where you always play the game at 100 coins regardless of what your bet is. So your bonus round win would be 1400 coíns. But if you're playing at a 0,2 bet then you need to divide that win by 5. If you play with a 2,00 bet then multiply by 2 and so on.

Thing is, it'll show you for example "1400 coins won", BUT on bottom right where your balance is as well as the amount won is displayed in the currency you play with, it will in fact, display the right amount. So if in your case it did show 14 quid as amount won then it's a bug, however I'm inclined to believe it was actually 1400 coins and you just associated that with 14 quid because normally that's how it would work out.

Ps. As I stated earlier, this game is by Elk Studios. It is not a Nyx game.

Thx everyone for the explanation. I had sooo no clue of this. ;) At least i now know im not starting to see things that actually havent happened :)

And distrance, you're right that the 1400 win was probably coins and I associated that with equalling 14 quid...but that was before i knew how confusing of a win screen you can create as a game provider. :) At least the thread was most informative!

I told the person I wasnt exactly sure and to check the paytable. He got the jist of it that his money didnt just disappear because of an error and that the game is different.

I made a deposit today at Casumo and thankfuly said no to those awesome min bet free spins. ;)
Besides that, not only min bet, also on a turd of a slot.
Poltava is low variance crap from Elk Studios.

Bloopers is the only fun slot they made but even that slot pays micro wins but because it is so fun I take it. ;)
