I was reviewing topgame casinos (Rialto in this particular example) for something new to do as a US player.
I'm usually happy to try new games but this is a perfect example of why you should ask plenty of questions before you throw money down. Remember casinos are always quick to take your money and hesitant to give it back.

(I can't help but shudder seeing the name 'Danny' anywhere - oh virtual )

hi brandon
Danny1 11:42:40
how are you today?
Danny1 11:42:53
can I interest you in a 200% bonus?
zyxnfryx 11:42:56
i am well - looking over the casino details in various forums
zyxnfryx 11:43:15
i have a bonus pending for 400% initial deposit via <website>.com
zyxnfryx 11:43:25
but im still deciding on playing or not - i have a few questions
Danny1 11:43:52
okay
Danny1 11:43:57
how may I assist you?
zyxnfryx 11:44:03
i have read that deposits under 249$ are subject to a 10x withdrawal maximum?
zyxnfryx 11:44:07
is that true?
Danny1 11:45:01
that is correct
zyxnfryx 11:45:25
ok, that is good to know
zyxnfryx 11:45:31
or at least be aware of
zyxnfryx 11:46:03
bonus chips are not cashable - is there a flat wagering requirement on bonus redemption?
zyxnfryx 11:46:08
say 30x for example
Danny1 11:47:20
the wagering requirement is different according to the bonus
Danny1 11:47:33
I can offer you a 20x 200% bonus on your first deposit for slots and keno
zyxnfryx 11:49:10
hmm im still not sure- the 10x cap is a bit unsettling
Danny1 11:49:42
yes I understand brandon
zyxnfryx 11:49:54
whats the withdrawal process like? ive heard of delays in the past with topgame software
zyxnfryx 11:50:03
as a usa customer, would I receive a check?
Danny1 11:50:19
we wire winnings directly to your bank account
zyxnfryx 11:50:40
and are there associated fees with that?
zyxnfryx 11:50:53
from your end, ignoring my bank
Danny1 11:50:55
yes there is a $50 charge for the wire
zyxnfryx 11:51:37
so in the event of a 20$ deposit, the maximum cashout would be 200, of which 50$ is charged against leaving 150 less bank fees
zyxnfryx 11:51:53
seems a bit much. thank you for the information though

As it turns out the minimum is actually 25$ so we are talking 250-50=200 (8x turnover maximum) in this case.
Between the max cashout and paying to withdrawal, good luck winning on this one. Maybe its better if you have neteller but sheesh thats ridiculous IMO. I know this type of thing has been discussed in the past but I thoguht I'd reshare for anyone not in the know.

This alone should have you running for the hills. Even Virtual wouldn't stoop this low. This is nothing to do with bonuses, this applies even when you play WITHOUT a bonus. It screws over the majority of recreational players who deposit less than this, and panders to the high rollers, who are being subsidised by the low rollers. This is money being taken from the "poor" to subsidise the activities of the "rich".

Virtual have max cashouts, but these apply only to players who take a bonus. Non bonus players just get jerked around for a couple of months, and then paid in full:rolleyes:

Does anyone know if there is any of the Topgame casinos that don't have that trap of 10x maxcashout on deposits under $250?

I never closed my Romeaccount and now I get 2-3 emails a week telling me I have money in my account.
$5:rolleyes:
I have never made a deposit and will never do. I have just been lazy and they havn't bothered me with mails before;)
That $5 can sit there for three more years:p

I would not in a million years put any money into a casino that had a 10x max cash out on my $25 deposit. I LIKE depositing $25 ! Over, and over and over.... :D

I agree Deanna. I like depositing in 'installments' in hope of a hit that I can snowball into something more down the road.

I have never seen anything like this before where a maximum is imposed on a straight cash deposit. So weird, and dirty too! It's not like the FAQ has the information anymore. Searching for 'max' gets you 'maximum graphics quality.' LOL

Even Black Diamond, Box 24 and Spartan Slots have this ridiculous rule.

It´s not in Black Diamonds T&C:s but if you look att their promotions:

Black Diamond Casino Bonus Offers

All Deposits of 249 USD and less have a max withdrawal of 10X for that specific play session.

It seems like that is rules that Topgames are forcing all casinos to have that's using their software.
I never thought Box24 and sisters would sink so low:mad:
Then it's all of them.

There is no reason for the 10x rule on deposits without bonuses. Not only does it screw you if you deposit under 249 but it forces you to take a HUGE gamble in depositing over the 249. It basically gives you a 249.00 minimum deposit to adhere to.

Retarded doesn't even begin to describe it! Please pass the lube and condoms!

Turn right, then right. then right again
AVOID TOPGAME CASINOS LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

I just don't know why anyone would play there. It may not affect larger depositors, but it gives you a very good idea of what kind of operation they are running.

Judging from what I've read at cm and elsewhere, it seems that their MO is to look after the high rollers to keep the big bucks flowing, and treat the average player like crap e.g. ignoring emails and stalling payouts until a complaint is lodged and pay immediately, making them look like the good guys. (I can't believe sites like gam grumbles hasn't worked that out yet...they use sites like that to get good PR out of rogue behavior)

I wonder how much money they make from players who wait and wait for their payout and just give up.

I have said before, I like the TopGame games, but once I learned about this term, it ruined it for me. I won't make any more deposits. They would need to - at a minimum - revise their terms to be in line with current industry standards. Currently, they are really not.

If the max w/d is 10x on the $5 the most you can win is $50 and if you request for it to be wired to you well you get what I wanted to say.

In that case they probably find another hidden rule somewhere that in the end will make me owe them money instead:eek2:

I have sent AffiliateWide (rep for Black Diamond, Box24, Spartan Slots) a PM about this.

I have noticed that the rules are different (definately not good) at the casinos operated by Winward. They don´t have the 10x max cashout rule on deposits below 249$, instead they have other ridiculous rules.

Casinos operated by Winward are several and some of them are Rich Casino, Winward, Casino Moons, 7 Spins etc.

This is from a recent thread:

This means that the worst trap is gone but players do not know this, reading
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
at Rich Casino now gives me this:

What are your casino deposit bonus rules?
In our online casino for every deposit you make Rich Casino will add a free deposit bonus to your account.

The moment you fund your account our casino system immediately credits the bonus into a separate bonus field giving you the chance to instantly use your free bonus to play our Slots and Video Poker machines, and you can also combine both your deposit and bonus money to play the casino games mentioned previously. Keep in mind that your free bonus money can be used to play Roulette and Blackjack games.

Further down on the same page:

What happens if I want to play the non-bonus games and my free bonus is pending?

Ccasino wagers made on Roulette and any type of Blackjack will not qualify towards meeting wagering requirements. If you play our Roulette, Craps and Blackjack casino games while qualifying for your free bonus our system will identify this as a forfeit of the free bonus and will leave it pending until you wager 24 times the amount of your deposit in any of our other casino games.

Remember that if you want to play Roulette, Craps or any type of Blackjack games your free bonus will remain pending.

What?

First the player reads this:

Keep in mind that your free bonus money can be used to play Roulette and Blackjack games.

Then this:
Ccasino wagers made on Roulette and any type of Blackjack will not qualify towards meeting wagering requirements. If you play our Roulette, Craps and Blackjack casino games while qualifying for your free bonus our system will identify this as a forfeit of the free bonus

Further down:

-Casino bonus money cannot be used to play any type of blackjack, roulette or craps game. Our casino system is designed to not let you play any type of free bonus balance on these casino games.

My own guess is that the T&C:s are mixing deposit bonuses with "no deposit bonuses". It´s not clear for players.

Most important is that you cannot read that you can request not to have the bonus attached to your deposit, which means that the trap is still there!

This means that ALL Top Game casinos have ridiculous rules! Avoid! Don´t play there! The casinos connected to Winward have a bonus attached to the deposit whether you want it or not* and ALL the others have a 10x max cashout on deposits below 249$.

My own guess is that Top Game have told the casinos outside the Winward Hall group that they have to have this rule to avoid conflicts between different casinos. The Winward Hall group was connected (same ownership) to Top Game from the beginning 2007.

The Winward Hall group have one type of rogue rules, and ALL the other ones have another kind of rogue rules!

*MissMD (Malci), the rep for the Winward Hall, have told us that players can have the bonus removed if you want it. BUT nowhere in their T&C:s this is said, which means that this probably is a fine construction to please CM members.

As Nifty said, players should avoid TopGame based casinos.

I wrote a post in January with my opinion regarding TopGame based casinos here, where I also mentioned their 10X withdrawal rule.

Avoid :)
