After losing my shirt, not to mention the value of my car over the weekend I decided to go back to pogo and have about 7 guest passes up for grabs. If you'd like one just send you pogo username via PM.
Thanks!

I've also got a couple if anyone wants one - they're only good for people who've never used a guest pass before though.

Same here the casinos hit us hard this weekend. Anyways could be age showing on my part, but what are pogo guest passes? All i thought of was when reading was that pogo game the kids use to play or pogo hot dog sticks.
LOL:eek:

Go to pogo.com....they have fun games to play (you can win money, so they say, I don't believe it...lol) but with a guest pass you get to play better games, much more fun imo.

lol....www.pogo.com, it's a site to play games for and try to win money. You can either play for free or get a membership - the membership gets rid of the ads and the jackpots are doubled and you get a bunch of other crap. The guest passes are to test the membership. I've been playing at Pogo for over ten years and haven't won diddly but supposedly people do. Just not me!

Pogo's a great site. I got heaps of guest passes if people still want em btw.

But what I don't understand is why they appear to dislike money.

If I could afford it, I would buy it and, um, introduce gambling - I don't understand why I can't gamble on Monopoly games unless a friend I trust wants to play...

How can anyone dislike money? That's just plain silly.

Well, I seemingly hated money for a few months of this year

Apart from my casino hammering, some online poker players got some REALLY good rakeback deals, I'm actually losing money on one player the more he plays as we were 'negotiating' whilst I was grinding high-stakes Video Poker lol - and I couldn't be bothered explaining to him that I had no more margin to work with - thankfully, he doesn't play that much so I don't lose much. Still pretty funny though, in my opinion.

But yes, I don't understand how you can run an operation as large and as popular as Pogo yet seemingly hate money by not offering widespread online gambling on the games.

I'd LOVE to play Monopoly for money, but my friends all find it boring (poker nerds) and lacking in skill (which is a good point, but no less enjoyable imo) - so I'm out of opponents and just want someone who is degenerate and doesn't mind playing high-stakes Monopoly Turbo games on Pogo. Anyone who plays Monopoly and trusts Pogo's RNG not to give me an unfair advantage? :) pls holla - look at bored I am, I'm posting everywhere and starting threads even! What's the world coming to?

Next time you're money hating, just send it to me and I'll show it some appreciation. I'm quite fond of the stuff myself. :p

Also Pogo isn't classified as a gambling site - when I first joined I sent them a mail and they wrote back explaining it - can't remember exactly what the explanation was (old age) but it was something like: there's some kind of licensing restriction that says if the prizes are under $5K then they can class themselves as a 'game' site (and save a whole pile of $ on stuff like insurance and licensing fees etc - who says they don't like money?) Which is why the prizes only go up to $4999. Because gambling is bad. And playing games for money is good. I guess.

Whilst I'll never be obsessed with the acquisition of wealth again, I don't hate money anymore - this is partly because I got rid of most of it, a little too much actually, but a little work as punishment to recover will be good for me.

Um, yea that explanation they gave you really sucks. I'll tell you why....

Insurance and licensing fees will be paid in about ummm ONE day of operation I would think - or if those fees are ridiculously high due to where they're basing themselves out of, they should move operations off-shore - unless they hate money, then I guess it's 'business' (lol) as usual.
