wow, they're saying now there's an expected 45-50,000 dead and thousands more trapped....:(

and from what I heard, it's starting to get really ugly over there. They were talking on the radio about reports of people guarding their supplies with machetes...

edit: found the story: You must register/login in order to see the link.

Just to let everyone know if you are a member of any survey sites or mypoints, you can donate your points through those sites. It can really add up. Donated both my hubbys and mine through mypoints.

I heard earlier that they doubled the estimated death toll. It now stands at 100,000

And thanks for the MyPoints info. I only have around 1700 right now, but as you said, they add up.

edit: hmm, do you have a link? I can't find it. You would think that they would have that on their front page.

If that doesn't work. Click on rewards and then charitable donations.
    That should do it.

Such a devasting tragedy. Very hearthbreaking to see what this earthquake has done to Haiti and the people living there. Many prayers and thoughts go out to each and every one of them.

They will not leave Dr.Gupta alone and even worse the Belgians took the medical supplies. I do not care who is responsible (UN,Belgium,MOI,whomever) but taking the medical supplies with them. As A. Cooper of CNN said, too many stupid deaths:mad:

What a nasty tragedy that took place in Haiti
My prayers and thoughts go out to each and every one in Haiti.(And I think 15 0r 16 Americans)
My heart goes out to all that volunteer in the help in the recovery efforts.
I will know if I can go to Haiti to help on Tuesday.
The only bad thing is I just had foot surgery and they may tell me "NO Way"
I just like to thank all that help in this tragedy.
    God Bless
