PLAYTECH BACK ON BOARD
For those of you who have been with me for a while probably remember the falling out I had last July with Playtech. It was over a number of issues that I was concerned about, and I made the decision to remove Playtech powered casinos from Casinomeister's listings here: https://www.casinomeister.com/accredited-casinos/
I was adamant that I would not bring on any Playtech powered casinos back on until the issues I had were either answered or rectified.
Well, after a few months of uncomfortable silence, some of the Playtech operators who were a bit disappointed in the entire situation, pushed Playtech and me back to the pow wow table, and we began to talk. I spoke about my concerns - and this had to deal mainly with player safety - and they spoke about some communication problems that they had with me.
You may remember some of my concerns. One issue was that it appeared that Club Dice casino was operating without a license. According to the Antiguan Directorate of Online Gaming's website
their license had expired. I picked up the phone and called the Antiguan office and they confirmed this. What they didn't tell me, was that Club Dice was authorized to operate during an interim period in which they were changing their internal corporate structure. Thanks Antigua, not!
Playtech and I also spoke about a dispute section to be set up for players of Playtech casinos. Admittingly so, this is a big step for Playtech, and I am pleased that they are willing to reach out to the players and offer their services to assist. It's not fully functional yet, so I'll wait for them to iron out any glitches before they decide to announce this - but it's reassuring that Playtech is making this move.
So at this time, I'm satisfied that Playtech is taking a more active roll in providing players with an environment conducive to a more pleasurable gaming experience. That's what this industry is all about, isn't it? Providing positive experiences for players? Yeah, I think so.
