Playojo locked account

I wasn’t playing the same game, but a week ago I had a big win on big bass splash. It was over multiple bonus rounds. I withdrew the money, received it okay, went to play on my account yesterday and I’m now also blocked. Contacted support and they’re telling me I used an “unauthorised card”. It’s my card, in my name and my name only and I’ve provided a photo of the card and my bank statements. They’re still telling me it’s an unauthorised card though 🤷🏼‍♀️

Do they have to report this issue to any regulatory authorities? I am unsure just a thought i had.
I'm not studied enough in the regulations to know how the the various commissions handle individual malfunctions so I'm not sure if it gets reported.

Hmm that is a fine line to walk in my opinion with ojo. Thats a really good point.
Yep that's where it gets messy. If the the play followed on from winning on the game in question, then legally they can do it.

I guess the argument would be if they hadn't played that game they might ran out of money before switching games.

I have been bitten by a similar term once where I didn't realise there was a term that said the maximum bonus win persists after wagering. I'd won a few grand more once it was cash and those winnings got capped to the bonus cap.

I think it would be good for the provider to demonstrate just how badly it was paying out to illustrate that there was infact a major malfunction with the underlying mathematics behind the slot. Otherwise, understandably, it just appears to players like they've plucked their winnings out of the air.

I had enough of my own money on ojo to place the bet I won with on other games..
Then ya I'd reach out to support and go through your game history and verify it all and send them your history showing that based on your initial deposit the winnings from x, y and z should still remain yours. Just a fair warning I wouldn't expect an immediate answer though. I'm imagining they're swamped right now in support. Between angry players, players missing funds that rightfully would be unrelated to this game trying to sort out what amounts people had before and after etc etc I'm guessing here but I don't think this whole situation is entirely rectified on their end by any means. I'm sure they're now getting plenty of responses from people that want answers, they want further explanation, they're not understanding the explanations or terms and conditions and need clarity or layman's terms.

Very messy unfortunate situation and hopefully everyone gets what is owed to them and can give those support workers some grace while they try their best to help everyone out and respond to a likely very overwhelming influx of replies to their emails sent out.

Do You work for ojo support? 😆jk I see where you are coming from but I’m bitter with the way they handled it. I have been a loyal player and deposit much more than I should quite regularly… I checked my deposit to withdraw ratio for the last 30 days and they are likely not happy I have won more than I played but honestly that’s not usually the case..

Yes i just recieved a message from EGO saying there was an issue with the game. So we both may have nothing. If thats the case i will ve livid.
I got a email saying that it was a mathematical malfunction of the RTP this is alottttt of people on alot of different sites same game. Go into your history and take all the screen shots you can. And don't know if it's going to deal any good but at least you have them

Agreed. If there was an issue fine thats ok but when. Do you say 2 hours. 8, 10, 2 days a week. How do i know one of my wins was not legit or 2 of my wins. Seems like a fine line to walk as a casino
Free
I am 100% refusing the free spins.. how can it be a malfunction if I won on like 10 games over a 12 hour period. I was up 160k and they took it all.. even money won on different games.
Spins refused on my end as it was 100 free spins at .10 cents a spin.I questioned them and they offerd another 100 splin like no thanks.... think this is a class action lawsuit myself and probably 100s maybe even thousands of folks. however I'm no lawer either but being out almost $28,000 Cad, they returned 60$ back to the account im definitely waiting on a response from my complaint.

Yes seems we all got that email. My thoughts are that is not a malfunction though. Sounds like human error as game was just updated.

I
All good.

I am curious to what stakes people were playing, I didn't mention it in my last post because I forgot but the fact someone won 160K does make it seem quite likely the new maths model was very borked rather than slightly.

EDIT:

I've also just seen bubbamarco's introduction thread in which they describe that they couldn't stop winning and only stopped because the game got removed. Whilst that can happen naturally for very lucky periods, that does seem to indicate a significant issue with the modified model. I haven't looked into the game or it's mechanics but it's very plausible that a single change to something such as the chance of a certain thing happening can have a huge overall

Yes I'd say you are right someone is responsible for this error. It is a sad situation it would have been life changing for me that's forsure..

Between $2 $5 id bump it up to $10 would loose and then go back to the lower bet and win a bit back it wasn't at 160k but i was 28k

I don't like being conspiratorial or accusing other players of something but my bullshit*t detector is going off the charts.

Was there a specific promotion or any reason for people to be playing this game? I saw someone mention it was allegedly in the hits/hot category but that doesn't cut it for me.

5+ people all played an obscure 2 year old slot from a provider I barely recognised and isn't very common.

5+ people all played this game at around the same time

5+ people all played this game at playojo

5+ people are all located in Canada

5+ people all knew one of the best things to do was to make an account at casinomeister

I played a provider called Expanse Studios one time and their games kept erroring and upon reloading the games the wins would re-credit as infinitum.

What I think has happened here is an exploitable glitch was discovered within this specific game and was subsequently targeted by a syndicate of players or gnoming group.

The conversations between these accounts don't feel very authentic and I'm surprised not one of the players took screenshots nor mentioned a certain winning screen that was one of their big wins. All just mentioned numbers.

If a game glitches and incorrectly pays out players, the casino is protected from those regardless if it was exploited or happened innocently. It
