That's it, time to close all accounts, both CasinoCasino and PlayOJO are highly accredited on here, if these are some of the best casinos I see no point in carrying on...

Here is the thread on CasinoCasino where you can see they have highly dubious practices, yet no one the rep or others has replied at the concerns...

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/casinocasino-is-now-accredited.88026/page-2
Now I have played PlayOjo for a couple of years a few times, I made a withdrawl last year, since then I have lost cards, been replaced, and closed some card accounts.

So I have withdrawn before with no problem, 2 days ago had a nice win off a £300 deposit and had £850, came to withdraw, was asked for card scan and id which I found strange as had withdrawn before. But I sent both these no problem.

Next day my withdrawl has not happened and I get live chat on, they are asking me for 3 different card numbers proof over the past 2 years.

"From what I can see, we need copies ofthe following bank cards: ending with 8735 / 8743 / 8727 I understand, if you no longer have these bank cards in possession, you can provide bank statements showing the transaction done to our casino in order to proceed with the verification completely."

I have no idea which card numbers these related to, like I said I have lost 2 cards and had replaced that I know of, I don't keep history of what 4 digit numbers my cards ended with.

Just going round in circles in chat, and refusing to accept the withdrawl, even though my account has been verified before.

It's usual disgusting ploy to get you to spend the winnings, just like the new accredited CasinoCasino did by not allowing to verify your documents till they decide and blocking your bank.

My PlayOjo is now £500 so they are getting what they want...as I am so angry at this, as usual dont care what you deposit, keep them coming no questions asked, win a little bit and the walls are put up till you spend the lot, DISGUSTING.

Well you should phone your bank and just get them to send you bank statements for whenever you deposited to playojo can't be that difficult
that's what I would do
and if you have multiple banks then you just have to ring them all.
would take you 20 minutes probably.

I have already withdrawn on there last year, why all of a sudden do they need 3 card statements and cards that I no longer have, why didn't they ask last year for them when they allowed the withdrawl?

..and no it's not that easy, they cant tell me which bank or card it was and their history does not show, its just wall after wall to stop you withdrawing, just like the new "CASINOCASINO" you don't get this with poker sites or Betfair.

To suddenly want 4 card proofs over the last 2 years from PlayOJO is just a joke when they had no problem with a small withdrawl last year

It is bad I agree
I don't play there I've seen it on TV (PlayOJO)
saw the advert last night actually and I was thinking of signing up.
guess I'll have to keep track of the cards I use though judging by what you have said

Personally what I would do if they told me what they told you
I would ask them for every deposit then you can ask your bank for bank statements for that date
you can't have that many banks?
the cards are not really the problem now. because you just need the bank statements and they are easy to get

maybe it is a good idea for everyone to get bank statements for the last 5 years from their bank and just keep them for when these casinos ask you for ridiculous things like this.

a lot of casinos seem to be asking for this sort of stuff now

Why. The casinos are just pissing you about. They neither need or are required to have them.

Bet on say WH and you could use a different bank card every 6 months. Hell you could use 3 different ones at a time. They will never ask you for either scans of the cards or bank statements.

In fact electronically they can tell whether the card you are using is in your name and registered to your address.

I have never had this before, yes always been asked for the card I have just used, but 4 cards over 2 years + when I have already been allowed to withdraw last year.

..and this is a 9.1 score accredited casino, and this new one CasinoCasino was just blatantly rogue with their behaviour, is it any wonder Ladbrokes got fined 5 million, this whole casino business has become a joke imo, I can't even trust the accredited casinos in the list anymore....

It all boils down to one thing, block, block, delay so you play your winnings away...100%

Legally they can not. If in doubt that the card was yours then the onus was on them to get the details years ago when you used the card.

All this crap is the reason i have never and never will use a debit card at any of these sites. Neteller or nothing and save my debit cards for bookies sites where i know i won't be pissed about.

It’s standard practice for most casinos to ask for this information. Your bank(s) will be able to provide you with statements - you can almost certainly get all of this from online banking. If you have a branch, they can even print you out a letter confirming all card numbers you have had, and that they are cancelled.

You’ve probably hit a threshold of lifetime withdrawals where they want to do extra checks. We’ve even seen that with Tombola, who are entirely UK based but want extra info when you hit £2000 of withdrawals.

It’s a minor inconvenience. Not rogueish behaviour.

In the meantime, set a timeout on your account so you don’t spend the money.

In future - keep good quality photos of the front and back of all cards that you use.

Wrong Dan, i've barely used PlayOJO in the 2 years +, yes 4 cards but a few deposits and two withdrawls which was ok'd after 3 of these cards...

But now they suddenly want all four cards, its an abs joke and is 100% to stall the withdrawl, which worked for them as I sent £300 back as usual, but no more, I am having the £500.

Why are no questions asked on deposits? the ball is all in the very poor rundown court.

Well in six years I have never had as bad a service as these last two casino's and considering they are highly credited I find it worrying, and I have used nearly every casino in the list.

They don't accept your withdrawal because you have deposited from your new card with totally different long card number and security code at a back of the card. For fraud prevention purposes they ask you to send them a bank statement of this card which shows your name and address. This is a basic and very normal requirement in all online casinos.

What if your father, uncle, godfather, brother, son etc have the same bank and has the exact same initials as yours? And here suddenly you get pissed off on one of them and decided to take their card and give it a go on Playojo slots...:D

You can ask them to remove all the old cards from your account and go through your account verification again. Just email them a picture of your ID, a front and back of your card and a statement. It will take them probably 24 hours or less and you will get your winnings.

Some casinos will use the law to their advantage (not suggesting these have as I dont know enough to judge) and I am afraid I dont know enough about the law to advise on this one but, after all thats said and done there are two facts:

If they are required under legislation to request these details then you do not have a leg to stand on unless you provide them. Its a pain but thats your path.

If not, then you can and should take it down the usual route, which is a formal complaint to start and/or the process within Casinomeister?.

Try to put the money and emotion to one side and be patient, I don't mean to sound patronising its just from experience that what scuppers me. I would be interested to hear how this one pans out either way, no judgement :)

Because they legally don't have to ask for it before withdrawal. Your complaint is with the UKGC not the casino tbh.
Sounds to me like you are close to having a gambling problem if you are reversing withdrawals you don't want to reverse. PlayOjo are shit so can't comment on that, but regarding casinocasino, I totally agree their withdrawal system isn't great, but you can put a timeout on the account or set a loss limit, either of which would have stopped you spending your money (presumably you can do the same at POjo) and the one account I don't have verified there, just asked how to do it and was sent an email straight away to reply to with the documents, took about 30 seconds from request to getting the email

I asked CasinoCasino straight away after my win where I verified my documents, as the section was just blank and you couldn't send them yourself which was very strange.

I was given a vague reply in chat that they would let me know if needed, and my withdrawl made my account to £0 so I presumed all good, nearly 48 hours later they come back with my bank has rejected the withdrawl, which is a lie as my bank blocked it as a deposit?!!?

Finally they send me an email, why on earth is the verification not already there to use, and then all this delay and bank blocking excuse, im not daft i've used loads of casinos, this is just terrible practice and against the customer.

...and no my £500 is still waiting to be withdrawn at PlayOJO, not gambling problem spurned it all, I took a punt DOA 2 the other time which failed lol.

L&L have recently had their UKGC audit and I strongly suspect that they have been told to ‘tighten up’ on checks (anti-laundering/fraud).
Hence the contradictory info given in livehelp.

ABC recently requested very old and expired cards from myself (which was virtually impossible), but I also appreciate that the UKGC are making casinos jump through hoops as high and as wide as they can make them.
I would rather do the checks requested by the casino than have them close to UK players due to losing their license.
Let’s NOT help the UKGC drive out our best casinos through our ‘lack of understanding’ about the behind the scenes stuff.
