Anyone noticed PlayNGo have started removing the fast spin from their games. Unibet don't have the fast spin option anymore, and if you click to stop the reels fast, you then have around a 1 second pause on the game before you can press start again.
Wonder if this is in anticipation of the new measures it looks like the UKGC are bringing in.

Noticed it and it's bloody awful. Game just doesn't feel responsive at all.

Really wish the UKGC would stop meddling with actual gameplay.

At least most Countries don't have the 3 second rule yet. I guess that there are channels of communication where casinos are given the heads up about impending and suggested new implementations

I've noticed more and more games are slow now, Blueprint are almost non playable now without slam stop.

Think the UKGC called for 3 seconds between spins

I did notice that too, thought it may be a casino by casino basis, now we just need them to remove/ban the changeable RTPs, if they genuinely have the players interests at heart.

I think Will Hill also did the PlaynGo update last night

Players were beginning to notice they were getting less playtime for their money, so to fix that UKGC are now implementing the delay between spins, making your money last as long as it used to before the rtp reductions.
Everybody happy.

I’ll be honest the UKGC are successfully going to accelerate the demise of the industry in this country. Whilst I hate the way things are going with UHV and zero gameplay outside bonuses with many slots this move will deffo accelerate the reduction in RTP. 3 seconds is just way too long.
I’m not one who usually fast spins but can see why some do. I would bulk at playing something with such a delay between spins. And if as a result the number of spins per hour is being reduced by at least 50% then the casinos are fully justified in increasing their edge by 50% and the main losers at the end of the day? Well if you don’t know the sucker in the room, it’s you!

Hi All,

This isn't PNG specific and expect a lot more (in fact, all) providers to follow suit. New UKGC guidance..

1. Remove Quickspin and Turbo Mode
2. Remove Spin Stop and Slam Stop
3. Minimum Spin Speed of 2.5 Seconds
4. Prohibit Multiple Gameplay on a Single Gaming Client

This is probably the most ill-judged of the new rules. It means if I want to play more than one game at once (and why the fuck should I not be able to?) I have to join other online casinos. I'd rather just use the one I like the best instead of spreading money and passwords and bank details all around the internet. Being restricted to playing one slot only at tortoise speed after all these years makes me feel almost forced to join other online casinos. That can't be right, surely?

Banning credit cards was a great step forward and imposing limits on spending is also good responsible practice aimed at reducing gambling harm until players can prove they can afford to spend more if they wish to. They effectively took care of the problem at the door, which was great. But all of this extra shit that controls how you spend your money, having navigated those previous hurdles, is complete overkill.

If I went into McDonalds and was told I could only order 500 calories' worth of food I'd say fair enough, the Government don't want people getting fat. But being made to eat a Big Mac with a knife and fork, and only being able to take sips of my coke, every 30 seconds, using a teaspoon instead of a straw?

Fuck right off.
