Play just friends online for real money

My friends and I normally meet up together regularly for a poker/blackjack session.

Obviously that has been curtailed due to the lockdown.

Can someone point me in the direction of a casino/poker site that we can just play eachother for real money? Take turns each to be dealer ect

We are all the UK. Can you play free or does the house take money from each pot? Or can you join and just pay a membership fee.

Not sure how it works with UK gaming and money laundering ect.

Hmm, i have been part of similar groups on both pokerstars and unibets poker-client.
I dont know if it works the same for people from the uk tho.

What you do is you make a group/club, and invite all the people that are gonna participate.
Then you can make tourneys/games only available to the ones in the group.
Like €5 buyin, texas holdem no limit etcetc.

I dont think the option to take turns as the dealer existed tho.
And to swap game from Texas holdem to Omaha for example, im pretty sure you need to create a new table/tourney.

I have always wanted to try poker.

The online tables seem a bit too fast for me learn without annoying the regulars.

Id throw a fiver or two in a friendly tourney for a fast learning curve.

Yeah, i was thinking like €5 for a tourney, and prices for those placing 1-3 depending on how many joins.
So no big money, just for fun.
Could maybe set up a discord or skype call so we can trash-talk each other while playing.

Can you not do a group phone call / group chat (whatsapp??) with webcams.

Sounds possible in my head but I already know I'll get told I'm stupid or this is 2020 lol

I dont want to steal all the streamers views by setting up a 9p doa stream at the moment.
But maybe after the virus has cooled down a bit.

But it would be fun to have some sort of voice-chat if we set up a poker tourney.
I hope you all know Swedish, because i can only write in english, not talk.

I think it would be a bit impractical to not say impossible to play a game of poker live via webcam, because you know, how would i deal cards to people
But setting up a discord or skype-call while playing a tourney on for example pokerstars client would be fun.
And its pretty cheap compared to playing slots depending on what buy-in is used.

I don't usually speak (unless paid to do so). Spoken words are overrated.

I do type some sort of finglish online, and my sincere hope is that I'm at least somewhat understood. But that maybe asking too much. Using a foreign language and being a tool is not the greatest combo to get your message through.

I like to think that i have less of an accent than them, because their english bothers me when i hear it.
But its probably worse, since they speak english daily, and i speak it never.

@paul7388 Yeah, i know i said that, but didnt i say i learned english by reading farm-equipment manuals or something like that?
I was just joking.
Most everyone under 60 and over 5 years old can speak english more or less fluently here in Sweden.
Same for all Nordic countries.

We learn it in school, but also we dont dub anything, so we watch&play all shows/movies/games etc with English audio and Swedish subtitles, and that way you pick up on things real quick.
Excluded from this is all movies intended for kids wich have a superior Swedish dub.
