So this slot got released about a month ago at Videoslots Casino, not sure if they have it elsewhere.

But basically in the help file it states it has an RTP of 96.00%.

So basically the reason why I am asking for peoples input and thoughts on it was because it has a progressive collection type theme. At the side there is a map with a ship and when you reach the next island you increase the free spins multiplier by 1X Maximum is 10X once you get to the last island.

So my thought it what people think of it it?

I am currently at 9X multiplier for it. As you get a higher multiplier it takes far far longer and thousands of spins to get to the next multiplier. I would also like to know if people think and wonders what happens once you reach the 10X multiplier? Will it reset? and you start again at 1X? OR would it mean it just stays at that multiplier for ever?

If that is the case then if you grind this slot like I have which I have enjoyed and had some very nice decent wins on it so far then it can be rewarding when you do reach the higher multiplier or max multiplier. Also in the free spins 1 scatter landing awards 2 extra spins too. 2 scatters award 5 extra spins then 3 is 10, 4 is 20, 5 is 50.

5 wilds on a line pays 200X alone. So imagine that at the 10X in free spins. So it would be 2000X not much but with all other wins you could get and chances of extra spins it can build a nice decent win........

EDIT: Something I forgot to add. I also expected because it has this style of collection and multiplier progression that it would mean the RTP would have a range and the higher multiplier you reached would result in a reduced RTP? But the Help File only states 1 RTP and it is 96.00%! Which is pretty odd, no idea how they done this if it is indeed the case where when you reach the maximum 10X that it stays forever?!

I hammered this slot when it was first released, got to the 10x multiplier a couple of weeks ago and have pretty much left it alone since then. Nothing happens once you hit the 10x - you just stay there for good. The ships still annoyingly still collect for no purpose, but I guess that you still need 3 for the bonus so 1 or 2 will carry on trying to collect.
I think the multiplier is just a bit of eye candy and the RTP accounts for it just as normal bonus on 1x and adjusts the win values accordingly. For example, bonus triggers and game has decided it's paying 100x. It'll display wins at 1x or 10x still to achieve 100x, just different graphical representation.
Ironically, my best win was my 2nd ever feature, obviously at 1x - to be honest, I thought the feature was broken - it paid £140 odd in the end on 20p stake but the whole feature took about 1hr 15 mins to play out - it just would not stop retriggering extra spins and at one point I was up to 40 spins in the bank. The wins came in so infrequently though that the balance just crawled up slowly.
I have thought that maybe that was one of the rarer high value features I happened to get lucky and hit early and this could be hit again in the future at 10x for a whopper but I'm not sure.
The one thing I did like about it was that I never took a massive hit over all 10 multiplier levels - it's a good grinding slot.

Thanks for your input. Funnily enough I too had the same thing happen to me too with one of my early features I won around £138 on it on min stake. Mine was at 2X multiplier though.

I also had multiple big wins of over 200X many times and loads between 10X bet to 200X bet. So yeah I do like the slot but base game is boring, I wished there was an autoplay feature. It is a shame it still collects ships once you reach max multiplier. That is pretty poor design then lol. Surely they should have noticed they need to stop the ship collection once you reached the highest multiplier. Sloppy devs hahaha.

EDIT: One last question for ya, Did you notice that sometimes when you trigger the feature it does not start the feature and you have to refresh the game and it then starts it? It happens nearly every time for me, not always but 90% of the time. So it has bugs too.

had 500x on 3x multi, the bonus lasted for well over an hour with a bunch of retriggers. I also experienced the same thing that I had to restart the game after the bonus was triggered

Well I have done close to 21000 spins on it now.

I am also getting really bad sessions on it every time I play it now too. Also features are impossible to trigger now I reached the 10X multiplier and they are all paying between 5X-100X mostly. Also retriggers during free spins are also impossible to get too. Very very rarely you get extra spins when you are at the max multiplier. So it appears that the slots variance has indeed changed.

This slot now seems very very high variance once you reach the 10X multiplier. Which is a shame. On the lower multiplier levels features was a lot more kind and gave a lot more decent wins and less dead spins and extra spins too. You are lucky to get 1 scatter land in 10 features which only gives you 2 extra spins. Whereas on lower multipliers you could get multiple scatters a few times or more within 1 feature.

I really do think I will stop playing this for a while now. It just seems to be a money grabber since I reached the 10X multiplier!

I haven't played this slot but it sounds like another way to offer a misleading TRTP; like with multiple accumulator slots but in this case imagine (exaggerated for clarity) that the multiplier went up to 1000x and took ~1,000,000 spins to get there- most people would give up loooooong before it ever reached its potential, but since the (flawed) RTP measurement works upon only a single (very long) game session you would have a far higher TRTP than the actual RTP players on aggregate would receive.
