Pictures? Error! (resolved)

I tried to upload a picture in a Conversation (former knowned as a pm)
It didn't work. It said there was an error, no specific information. It's small enough and I used to upload a lot before.
Did our already uploaded pictures disappear?

Sounds like this might be related: I tried to upload images into a new thread -- via "Upload a File" -- I was creating today and got the same error message. Tried it in two different forums, same result. Tried it here, same. No like.

Thread title was "Pictures in Conversations? ..." but I've changed that since it seems to be a general picture problem.

Yes I thought about it after I posted it. I don't upload screenshots anymore in the forum so I never checked if that worked.

I also wonder how long a Conversation can stay. Do we never need to start a new one....which should be another question somewhere else of course

Tried to add a picture to winners screen shots threads - add image has no option to "browse" your computer to upload the image. Just input for a URL ...

AFAIK that was pretty much always the case, but on the old forums we could attach stuff, even drop attachments inline if desired.

Here on the new forums it seems all that comes down to "Upload a File" which doesn't seems to be working at all. Oddly it did work for the first day or so but now ... nada.

Yeah - the images/attachments I'll be looking into today. We have an awesome plugin for this that I'll think you'll find useful - and mind blowing. But first - I'll delve into this matter.

Looking as the mobile version on an Iphone X, the pictures in posts are ridiculously small - is there a way to make these bigger, it literally spoils the mobile experiance

Ok - I am rolling up my sleeves for getting the images squared away.

The mobile images will probably require a template edit. I will get to that soon.

That works, however the old version you could take a look at a page of screenshots without clicking each individually. Can we make the default picture size larger - say 50% larger.

Yes! The porting shrunk many of the screenshots to thumbnails. But when you click them they get big.

And when you upload them now, you have a choice - thumbnail or full meister size.

One more picture size issue. Do you see what you've done to my picture that I use as an Avatar? It's totally wrong and you know me and pictures.
Will it always be that size? I need to know so I can chose pictures that fits.

It is on the to do list. I would like to increase this size, but I will have to delve into a template modification in order to do this. So for now. you are better off to exchange it for something just as awesome.

The old forum allowed one to set up sizes for different user groups. That was an out-of-the-box option. This forum is different, but I plan to make a change. It's just going to happen now.
