This is what happened. I gave them a fake SS number of a friend. I signed up with a fake name different from the SS number. My account was blocked by Neteller. Stating to give them a call. Once I called they transferred me to Neteller Security. Neteller Security informed me that the SS number didnt match the name of my account. I went on and stated that it did. Neteller Security told me the SS Number matches the name of Bruce D. (Bruce D. is the actual name of my friend) They also stated his address. They then told me they would send me some forms to take to the Social Security Office and have them fill out and certified and sent back to them. I received the form. But did no such thing.

I am not an American so this doesn't affect me, but it is an alarming thought that a commercial organization seems to have access to your personal information held in trust by the government?

I would not like to think that in my country (where we have ID numbers) that any Tom, Dick or Harry could look up my name and harvest my ID number - the implications are scary.

Forget about being a gambler, they're now providing a service for identity thieves here. They should not be doing this.

Last week my mother was over and I opened a Neteller in her name and used her real SSN just to see what would happen. They told my mother that she does not exist...she told them I dont?

Hey Linda updated me on what happens. I did the same thing a few days ago. They stated that my real SS# didnt match either. So they put me on hold. Someone came on and told me the had to run a new software and it came up as me and they okayed my neteller account. I had them to close it because they are crazy to think im playing a 9% INSTA-CASH fee.
