Payout problems at Club World ... maybe not.

Not me. I have been a horse-racing enthusiast for more than 30 years and still going strong. The horse-racing season at my place starts in 10 days and I just cant wait. Its great that we can bet on important races elsewhere like the Breeders Cup in the States and the Melbourne Cup in Australia.

Australia has awesome racing and I tend to do well there when I can play. Being on the East coast, the races run well into the wee hours. We used to simulcast Hong Kong racing many years ago. Was very popular.

I will keep you in mind Chuchu when I have anything interesting to play, especially for Breeders Cup. That's the best racing all year. I know a few owners and trainers from the east coast area who have had great success in the racing industry. Wish I had known your passion before the Belmont Stakes. I had the winner, Ruler on Ice and a sweet exacta payoff.:)

I don't mind the races, but I actually like the harness racing better.

I only live about 15 mins from 2 major Melbourne racetracks so I occasionally pop in for a flutter.

I have just come home and feel some clarification is required.

Yes, I was paid by CW after my complaint was posted.

Saying this, the reason for my post was not to pressure the casino to pay me. I can afford to wait a few days. Rather, if I am told a casino is having problems payng players then i think people need to be warned.

While some others in this forum may disagree, I do not play at casinos where I don't have confidence of payment. I suspect many others will agree hence my posting. It's not like I made the issue up.

I often have problems with rejected withdrawals at CWC but normally its all sorted out when I contact customer support. In this case it wasn't.

This forum is meant to be for players to air their issues and concerns not be advocates for various casinos which clearly some people are. It's also apparent to me that some posters don't seem to grasp the various vested interests of industry players, the potental for fraud and always present insolvency concerns. Rather they sprout off various "asserted" facts which they have obtained from other people's posts to try and show how irrational everyone else is.

On a side note I have put $500 on Manighar in pre post markets @ $71 to win the Melbourne Cup. I hope he makes the field and even better wins.

I have never had great success at handicapping harness racing. We have never simulcast harness from Australia, only thoroughbreds. Didn't know that was even popular over there! We used to have Swedish tracks on ocassion but the handle was so poor that we did not renew the simulcasting rights. Now that was real harness racing with sometimes entries listed 12+ trotters a race! Do you have access to US racing? Just curious. If so I'll have to add you to my list Nifty for when I get reliable info.;)

You can dress it up however you like, but you did not follow the rules regarding complaints/issues concerning accredited casinos. One of the benefits/privileges of accreditation is that these operators are afforded a reasonable chance to resolve issues privately, rather than have someone start threads recommending that other members avoid them.

Obviously, you were annoyed that you were told your payout may be delayed....there is nothing wrong with that. However, you used the forum to vent your frustration and potentially damage a reputable brand, rather than do what a reasonable person would and contact the rep and allow 24 hours for a reply. As I said, you can dress it up all you want, but it is plain that your intention was not to "protect other players" or "warn the members", but to vent at CW's expense.

You had no information regarding the actual issue, no actual unreasonable delay (48 hrs is not unreasonable), and no idea if it was affecting anyone else - and yet you had to warn everyone? Instead of trying to defend your inappropriate behavior, you should be apologizing to CW, CM and the Rep.

Who is advocating for CW? If you're going to make accusations, you should at least have the courage to name them. I would be cautious however, as you could end up looking very silly.

CW are reputable operators and have earned the right to be treated with more respect than they have been by the OP.

Harness is huge here. Melbourne area has at least two meetings a night with big city meets three nights a week.

I can bet on us races here no problem.

I'm happy to be on the list. I'm not a big punter but its nice for something different :)

Is harness racing akin to chariot racing? If so, there was something similar in Macau 2 decades ago but frankly nobody was interested and everything tapered off. Even to this very day, Hong Kong racing is well and alive and we do attract some of the world's best jockeys to the colony. I understand there is a successful jockey from Australia named Tim Clark joining us this season.

Why ? I have been told they have technical issues and cannot pay. Further they dont know when the issue will be rectified.

I assume this problem affects all players, so hence the warning.

For the skeptical few, I have played at this casino for a couple of years and have been fully I'd.

they need to clear the money I gave them Sunday/Monday before they can pay you.

Yep it descends from chariot races.

I really like the skill and tactics involved with the driving, and the introduction of a Sprint lane has made it far more competitive.

Got Paid!

My first installment was done via ACH and took 5 business days. Hit my bank this morning. Now awaiting a check (processed Tuesday) for the balance. First time getting a check in years but wanted to see the time differences in delivery. Just curious.

I was so lucky to hit a random jackpot last week and seem to get lots of play CW. After receiving my funds, I deposited a 100, took the 65% bonus and after playthrough am cashing out again!:yahoo:

I am now a ClubWorld believer.:)
