Not that I condone what you did, but I could see why you would want to do it.. I have called casinos many times regarding glitches and boo-boo's on my account and have been told flat out "our computer dosnt make mistakes"(I wish I had known about Casinomeister then) lol

It isnt actually the same principal as a bank puttign 1k into your account but taking that as an example.

Actually, it is the same principal. If a bank gave you $1000 by mistake, and you took that money and opened a CD with that same bank, do you really think they would honor that CD after they discovered their mistake? Or even just give you the interest that you earned? No they wouldn't. They would void out that CD. Now of course, if you had other money in that bank, you could argue that you opened the CD with your own money, and thus the bank was only entitled to their $1000 back. Likewise, if the original poster had other money in his casino account, he could argue that he gambled with his own money, and thus the casino was only entitled to the amount of the mistaken credit, not the winnings. That is not the case here. He took money which wasn't his, gambled it, then expected to be able to keep the winnings. No reasonable person would (or should) have the expectation that he could keep his winnings. Not even a part of it.

Long time to pick faults

Ok it been a while so had to re read this post ok firstly i do not know what a CD in a bank is or how you open one. So i cant really comment on it however you say by your own admission if he had money is account he could argue something was due to him.

Well he did have money in his account the comps he was due therefore as you have said he should be entitled to something if he had his own money in his account you are now of the same opinion as me that the casino was wrong to withdraw all his funds.

I am glad that after all this time you have came round to my way of thinking im glad i am not the only one thinking this way.
