I was wondering if this "quarantine rule" is new in Palace Groups' terms and conditions? I have not seen this before:

12. Unless stated otherwise all promotions are subject to the quarantine Rule. The quarantine rule states that players are unable to withdraw any amount from their account until they have either met the wagering requirements or played through all funds in the Bonus Account.

13. If a promotion is not subject to the quarantine rule, players may withdraw their funds at any stage. However, any bonus balance remaining in their account will be forfeited and removed from the bonus account.

It used to be that you could withdraw any or all of your cash balance, if you accepted that any amount remaining in your balance account was forfeited. I am a bit confused  with the terms above as it appears that you cannot withdraw anything until your bonus account is completely played through- although terms 12 and 13 kind of contradict each other.

Any comments?

If I understand it correctly, it says you can't withdraw if you have anything in bonus balance?
If so, than finally one MG casino clearly defined that rule. It was actually applied in practice by many of them but never written. Only few MGS, that I know of where you can pull out your cash without completing wagering. JF group is one of them.

Please someone correct me if I concluded wrong.

I really don't see the issue here? It seems pretty straight forward to me. The way I understand it, these terms don't contradict each other.

Here's the bottom line:

#12: If a bonus is quarantined, then you can't withdraw any money, including your own, before you meet the WR. This is standard for most casinos.

#13: If a bonus is specified as not being quarantined, then you can withdraw your funds at any point and time, but you cannot cash out the bonus. This is similar to MGS' clearplay system, except in this case, you cannot cash out any portion of the bonus that you have cleared.

For example in #13, say you deposit $100 and get a $100 bonus. Then you hit a jackpot for $7,100 on your very first spin. You can cash out immediately, without having to go broke while trying to meet the WR. The only thing is, you won't be able to cash out the $100 bonus, and will get $7,000.

Sure, this seems like bonus abuse, but hey, it's their rules.

What I was wondering is if this "quarantine" term is new. I know in the past, I have withdrawn from my cash account when I got it to a decent level, even though it meant forfeiting the $60 or $100 or whatever it was that was left in the bonus account- as in your #13 above. I thought the reason many of the casinos have this "clear pay" system where it's easy to see what is in your cash and bonus accounts. If it was in your cash account, I thought you could withdraw it at anytime at MG casinos- well, I guess not 32Red from what I have seen, but from Jackpot Factory at least, that is how it used to work.

Thanks for your responses!

I don't think it is new. I've listed Palace Group casinos on my website for years - and I think it's always been there, though maybe phrased differently.
I know for their SUBs the FULL WR has always had to be met before you could withdraw (i.e. it is "quarantined").
But for other follow-on loyalty bonuses they don't always apply this term.

Bonus and withdrawal terms

Thanks all. I guess I have never noticed this before. At VIP Lounge (i.e. Jackpot Factory), this is the terms for bonuses which I do appreciate!

ClearPlay – Your Choice When To Withdraw Credits | The ClearPlay Bonus System clearly shows you the credits available for withdrawal at any one time. Your cash balance is all yours and at your disposal whenever you wish. Gone are the days of not being able to make a withdrawal before fulfilling the playthrough for a bonus in its entirety.

Jackpot Factory can offer this since they offer low percentage bonuses, such as the ongoing 10% on every deposit that is credited twice a week provided there have been NO withdrawals from said qualifying deposits.

Palace Group offer between 25% and 100% ongoing, and probably found they could not afford to be this flexible. The original clearplay scheme was badly conceived by MGS from the start, and would ALWAYS have had advantage players "laughing all the way to the bank" where offered with high percentage bonuses.
Most casinos therefore, required all WR to be completed.

"Playing through the bonus balance" does NOT mean "busting out", it means playing enough to convert all of it to cash, even if the balance never dips low enough for the bonus chips to come into play. It is another way of saying that WR must be completed in full, in other words the "quarantine rule".

VipLounge Casino from the Jackpot Factory group also gives other random bonuses, and 100% match bonuses.Withdrawal is possible at any time.
In fact I am disappointed that it is not possible with 32Red.

32Red has only the monthly match bonus for club rouge players, which is better.Although with WR 30 times the bonus amount, it is very difficult to fulfill the WR.

VipLounge has WR of only 15 times the bonus amount.

VipLounge is by invitation only, the same as Club Rouge, and in my opinion very competitive with 32Red.

CS of 32Red remains of course the best.
