PAB Year End Report Uploaded

Yeah - but how many players?
As you know, I promote casinos from a variety of brands and the number of players I get at Playtech casinos is pathetic to put it mildly!
I wish someone would tell me what's wrong with them, as personally I think they have a very good software package...

KK

Software is nice, but far too many "rogue" operators, and "rogue" or "predatory" terms in many others.

Like myself, many players may have decided to avoid ALL Playtech casinos as a means to keep away from the problems.

RTG is the same, rogue operators and actions scare players away from the brand as a whole. Even the reputable operators occasionally get embroilled in controversy.

MGS I still consider as the safest brand, even though some notable rogue instances has made me less trusting of any new MGS start-up.

Rival - predatory, incompetent, and quite a few rogues. Only FOUR independent operators are worth looking at, but some stories have cast some doubt as to how "independent" of Rival central policy these four really are.

The smaller softwares suffer from the doubt created from previous experiences, such as the problems with Hype - good software, but went bust taking players' money with them. Wizard, died without getting much of a foothold. Top Game, poor start, poor middle, and probably a poor ending.

The next new brand will have to PROVE that they are not about to follow suit.

Until the rogue operations can be quickly shut down or forced to behave, their actions will affect the entire industry, and reputable operations will suffer because of the actions of others who just happen to use the same software, or just happen to be licensed in the same unresponsive jurisdiction.

Agree with most of what you say here, VWM, but on the last par I would have to say that I fear the uninformed 'new blood' players coming in will probably continue to keep the rogues and villains alive.

And I often wonder how committed to a better industry most of these companies really are in terms of probity checks and operational monitoring.

an interesting category(s) would be how long the PaB process takes. For example, I assume with some groups it is very swift while other times it is a slow process. Does it sometimes only take a day to resolve? Weeks? Months? What is the avg/mean/median times?
What is the longest a pab has gone? ... I think the whole thing is very interesting.

I would like to know this to but I think it depends on the casinos cooperation. Ie how long they take to email back etc.

I see where you are coming from but to be truthful I think there are too many extraneous circumstances that affect the "solve time" on a PAB:
  • timely responses from the OP.
  • timely responses from the rep.
  • timely responses from the casino.
  • people's vacations, sick time, etc.
  • Max's efficiency (it varies).
  • endless numbers of complicating factors (documents, payout times, etc).

So the way I see it you'd have to include some of this info in order to know what it was you were looking at regarding the "solve time" on any given issue. This would entail WAY too much effort, IMHO.

FWIW there are very few groups that are always fast and efficient when dealing with issues. They tend to win the Casinomeister "Best" Awards.
