Oops, Rolastan got banned

Read this this morning and figured I wouldn't bother replying.

Then read it again and to be honest the comments have not come as a surprise.

Whether his screenshots were real, or if he posted in threads or not , or if he was most liked or hated member should not matter as he was correctly banned for his attitude to casino staff.

I would have thought people would look at it and think shame or good and that would be it.

But no as usual it had to turn into a thread where people slag the guy off and speculate on what sort of person he was and how out of control his gambling is.

Honestly I look at some of the threads of late and see how quick some members judge people or join in attacks on casinos before anyone has any facts and at times its sickening.

Even if some nutter joins and posts weird stuff and gets banned that's never it. There's always got to be pages of threads where the banned member gets called everything and made fun of.

Now I don't care who like Rolastan or who didn't, same as I don't care whether I'm the most disliked member here or not.

I just find that for a forum that prides itself on its "friendliness" that too often people have got to get nasty or make personal attacks. And now a members banned and instead of that being it people find it as an excuse to bring up the past and launch attacks.

Really makes you wonder at times, anyway I will leave people to their latest hate campaign as it will all blow over soon enough and be some other poor sods turn shortly.

When your name goes red does that have to be forever?

I'm saying this because from memory I'm sure some casinos have made it back to some form of CM trustworthiness.

Why not a former member?

It's always a shame to see a member go that communicates less than me. :p

Just to chime in here: being banned doesn't necessarily mean being banned forever. Besides suspensions of course, let's say someone is banned for being abusive towards a casino rep, the CM administration, a casino's customer service, or a fellow member - a heartfelt sincere apology can go a long way. We have had members in the past being banned for serious flaming. But they apologized to the targeted member, that member accepted the apology, and the banned guy was let back in.

We are all human and can be emotional at times. This is always taken into consideration. I try not to be a dick as much as possible.

Its hard not to be a dick when you have a pair off balls. It's hard not to be a bitch when you are menstruating.

"We have had members in the past being banned for serious flaming."

"and the banned guy was let back in."

So all the gals on CM have been good as gold?

Fighting for equal rights! :p

Wow!

It looks to me like too many folks here aren't keeping busy enough in their "real lives" that they have to get so into bashing an online personality who apparently "lost the plot".

I sure do miss so many of the old time members that have slipped away from posting here. I wasn't always the nicest broad here in my short posting "career", but even I knew it was not considered correct forum behavior to kick a guy when he was banned and couldn't explain or apologize or even tell some of you to "F@&K OFF".

Nate, you are still #1 and a real class act in my book.
