Recently (today :p) I switched to fun money play.
Seeing that i netted a 100$+ loss at min bet I think this is a good choice.
What's great is to know I would have quite the loss but I don't have
    to bear the burden.
I'll keep track of the balance and see where it goes.

I think this is so much better than real money play.
No aggrevation, no pain caused by near misses.
    It's so much more relaxing.
Thank's to the casinos who let you play for free uninterrupted.
In fact, I think I'd be willing to pay a bit for play money.
It still would be a money saver.

So, I will maintain on "demo mode".
    I don't want to relapse being a slotomaniac! :mad::oops::thumbsup:

EDIT: Currently playing: Finer reels of life. Such a relaxing sound track.
It's great! Hope I win, but if I lose, it won't hurt so much

I play a lot in fun mode. Mostly when my budget is gone but also to relax. No pain when you loose, just a little pain when you win big. But you don`t win anything. Most players want to win and we need the exicement of the winnings, it`s like a drug. If I win 300 or 400 times my stake I feel good, but I would never bet 15 or 20 a spin. 0.80 is my maximum, and with this stake my monthly budget is done in an hour LOL

Do you track your fun money balance?
I'll do that. It'll be fun to know how much I "saved".
Sure, it's not as exciting, but it's not as aggrevating either!
    I hope I will be down a lot when I get a big 500x hit :D
Otherwise I might smash my screen :D:rolleyes:

I use fun mode sometimes to get a taste of new games before risking my own funds so it is a welcome things where casinos offer this option.

Another good thing is that the games play exactly the same as real mode so the cold spells are there too!

(Unless of course you're playing the 'hour free' at CR where they basically just 'empty' themselves into your balance :p)

I was surprised at how effective fun play can be. I think slotters are just geared towards the 'key' stages such as the big wins, anticipation of the 3 scatters and bonus rounds.

Fun play provides all these and can provide the same stimuli, minus the bad bankroll management, sudden lapse of willpower and shameful feeling of regret at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. That's my speciality!

Convince yourself "money saved is money made" then you will have a unbeatable gambling system playing freemode unless a huge jackpot pops in :)

I don't play in 'Fun mode' anymore, just because in case I 'win' big.

The only place I would play in fun mode, would be at a rogue casino.

    Good idea!

The thing is, most of the time, the big win is not a net win.
Esp. if you track your balance across time and different casinos.

That's exactly what I do. I'm getting addicted to saving money :D Still be than getting addicted to losing, ie.
playing slots for real money :D

That's exactly how I see it. Plus you notice that really big wins are rare.... really, really rare.:p

Sort of... I still like the thrill of the big REAL win.

However I play the Google play apps for fun free slotting. This alleviates the worry of hitting a big money win as apart from the WMS slots the vast majority of these slots are not available in real mode. :)
