Ok, me =gambler for 10 years, online gambler for 2 years, only play slots. I've played at many big casinos bet365, 32red, vegas partner lounge casinos etc, in short have deposited about 20k, average spin between 2-4$, spun the reels about 50 000 times, my biggest win was 346x my bet in 2 years online. Yes I've seen the screenorama forum so I know what's possible, but just want others opinions experiences, I've played any game you can think of, microgaming netent playtech etc, I play on high revenue and accredited casinos only, never had 500x my bet, so for most players out there am I unlucky or is the norm? In my hometown casino I've hit many times 1000 2000x and up, but online never had luck

It seams to me that you are probably playing the wrong games... If you played only high variance slots for 2 years and never hit a 500x bet that would be highly unlikely.. I would say if thats the case its rigged lol.. But you are probably playing the wrong type of slots.

If you can name the slots you play the most then it would be easier to tell. Also in my experience and im sure alot of people here would not agree with me and say it does not matter, but to my experience i have had the most luck on the "Bigger" sites. As you said high revenue casinos.

I think it's just luck. Personally, I feel the big wins are easier to come by in land based casinos but I get much more playtime in on-line casinos so overall it probably works out about the same RTP-wise.

Ive played mostly thunderstruck 1&2, immortal romance, bust the bank again, agent jane blonde, hitman, any microgaming slot you can name, any netent slot you can name, and as I said I deposit minimum 1500$ per month and have days where I deposit up to 500, I spin at 1$ also when I just wanna get some playtime, ive taken many many spins and there are some wins in between there. Ive never hit higher than my 346x which was on immortal romance thanks to the wild vine that covered half the reels. and ive only played mostly at bet365, red32, the reason I say higher revenue casinos, is because the more money coming in the more money they must payout(if theyre legit anyway) so I think that does increase your chances. I just wanna know that im not the only player that never got a decent 500x bet online cause im starting to think im seriously unlucky, and ive probably played/spun the reels more than 75% of people

This could be about right, I've had many times 200x, 300x but 350~ as I stated was the most, I've used the good ol calculator, while you win more often and your money does last longer than at a land based, I just don't find it fun winning 600-700$ off a 2-3$ bet where at my land based casinos those 2$ bets have landed me thousands and some times 5 digits. I've never online deposited 500$ and had my balance at over 2500 in one session. I think after 2 years of trying I'm going back to the land based casino In my town where I could land some bigger money more often

I would say it's about luck (certainly not good luck in your case).

Although if your numbers are right (about 20k$ deposits in two years with average spin of 2-4$) then I wouldn't be that surprised that you haven't hit anything huge. Most of the popular Microgaming slots (such as IR and TS) are really high variance so hitting a big one can be tough. Going 200k+ spins on said slots without hitting a 1000xbet hit isn't unheard of - proud member of that club myself :D

The specific variation of nine line slots you play I have had four hits in 2014 in the over 1200x total bet region, (two apiece at 32 red and jackpot City)

BUT there's no question this is definitely a 'hot streak'. In the whole of 2013 I didn't get a single decent hit at 32 red (though oddly the late lamented ladbrokes MGS casino (rest in peace)) was spitting out cracking wins at that time.

So it really is swings and roundabouts with MGS. If you stick in there, be patient, don't chase etc etc (you know the drill) your time will come again.

EDIT - Just a thought but pulling back on the variance might be an idea. Have you played Party Island at 32 Red etc for example.
Variance wise it seems to be somewhere between Agent jane and Immortal Romance, and it has an eyecatching paytable for an MGS 9 liner.

I wish I had that luck online, in the land based casino ive had those crazy wins but online never happened. Never won 500$ off a 1$ bet, most was 350 like I said. Ive also played 3-reels and never hit the big one. I think this has to do with the slots being individual at a land based casino and lower RTP's so when they do hit they hit bigger where online theyre hitting more often but smaller. And its a server with 100s of people clicking at the same time. Love the online gaming cause I don't have to drive for an hour but when you've never gotten a decent 500x your bet the thrill is gone. I probably wouldn't even cash out because that amount is ridiculous to what ive lost in my lifetime, id need one of those progressives to cover my losses:(

My time has not come yet mate, im starting to think this has to do with online casinos, I mean how much revenue to they make in a year? Are they as many high rollers as a land based casino, My hometown casino is the montreal casino, which average 500million a year in revenue and have a terrible payout of 83% on their slots and ive managed to win a couple of 5k$ spins off 2-3$, mind you there is much more money going in and out than any online casino, I guess im not used to the online gambling yet or just unlucky

For me it is a 2 hour + drive to decent casinos (Atlantic City) so for me it is not worth it if I only want to gamble a small amount, say, $20-$50 total. Online gaming fills that gap nicely and there has been many times where I have played sporadically for several days on a small deposit. I'm kind of a low roller at both types of casinos and usually play under a dollar per spin so if I put $20 in online and cash out over $100 I'm a happy camper despite having had no big wins.

My own advice, use on-line for fun and land based for serious gaming.

I think you have nailed it, I'm guessing there aren't big players online as there is in Atlantic city, vegas, even here in montreal where I am, if they don't make as much how can they payout big so often, with these online casinos maybe 1-2 people a day manage a big win, but when your in Atlantic city you have those machines going off every hour

The online casino's turnover is totally irrelevant. All the slots you have been playing (MG & NetEnt) are totally random and not dependant on how much money is put through them. Even if you were the only player at an online casino in a given month, you would still have the same chance of achieving the slots' RTP as you would if there were 10,000 players.

I have been playing online slots virtually every day since 2005, and I've had very few wins over x350.
Just had a quick look though my screenshots:
On MG I've got 100's of wins over x100, but only 4 over x350: Dolphin Coast, Fat Lady Sings, Supe It Up (my best @ x732) & The Osbournes.
Note: I rarely play the high variance 243 ways slots like IR, TS2 & TFROL.

On NetEnt I have 5 over x350: Alien Robots, Gonzo's Quest, Jack and the Beanstalk, Super 80's (my best @ x478), The Wish Master.

When I play I never look for that "Mega Win", I am happy to just seek out a series of bet x100-ish wins and slowly increase my bank-roll.
The big ones are very nice of course, but I never expect to hit them.

Better luck in the future!

I think starting about two years ago is when I began keeping screenshots of every win 100x or above. My assessment of how wins go is that on some softwares, you'll get some huge wins - but once in a great while. On other softwares, you'll never get huge wins, but you will get the occasional 300x win, with many more modest wins.

So my view is that probably your luck has been bad. I know on one casino, I opened an account, and for about two years, I ran HORRIBLY. Then suddenly, one day, I ran good, couldn't lose, for like about a week or two - it was great fun. But that gave way to another long horrible run.

So many people can't deal with the downturns.

Think you have just been very unlucky tho the slots you seem to have mentioned are mostly higher variance. Microgaming has what 400+ slots so have you tried playing some of the older slots as they might not be as exciting but they can pay well. Take for instance KK said fat lady sings now If my maths is right I must have had loads of wins 350x plus on that as very often a 50p stake returns over £200 in free spins. Even my old favourite Kathmandu has returned many free spins rounds of a few hundred pound on small stakes once won £850 on that from a 27p stake. There are Many other slots that return good wins often if you play them enough. Actually think its kind of hard to think people never get a win of over 350X stake as on a 25p bet you only need to win just less £87.50 on a free spins feature to achieve that and for 500x its only £125 and many slots pay that regularly.

I have seen a few posts where people assume it is easier to hit a biggie in a land based casino.
I also think this might be true in some way.

I remember I posted a thread a good while ago about WMS slots.
I don't play them land based as they are not available here but I follow big WMS games at Youtube and it seems over 80% of those wins occur in land based casino's.
Even a good friend of mine goes quite often to Holland Casino in The Netherlands and once in a while he sends me these awesome hits he gets on WMS slots... ^^

I love WMS and would love to play them land based but can only access them online.

I had a few nice and good hits on them but nothing compared to what these slots can pay.
I play mainly G+ like Bierhaus,Kronos etc etc and the hits I have seen land based are so much better then the online ones.

So I wonder, are they online ones harder to get a monsterhit?Although RTP should be nearly similar to land based casino machine's?

The WMS (Williams) slots seem easily the best by far to me...strange how they are not on many online sites...
