Hello!
Another newbie thread, and a sequel to 'The Blackjack Edge' down there
Me and a couple of mates are planning to throw a couple of thousand at a roulette 'experiment', on the off chance it might make us some money! We appreciate entirely that it is down to luck, but want to make completely sure that that we're getting as fair a crack as possible.
Ok - The idea is this!
We throw in a couple of thousand dollars/credits between us, and bet twenty dollars on four different numbers every spin. The idea being, everytime we get about a 1 in 9 chance of hitting 720 dollars/credits. Play until we either a) Lose it all b) Double our money. If we get a few good hits, we play until we get nine straight spins without a win, then cash out and split the profit - whilst re-investing the original stake. We could potentially lose it all, but then again we could do really well (that's gambling I suppose!)
Anyhow, I suppose the question is which Casino to use! I'm familiar with both Microgaming and Cryptologic, but entirely unsure of which of the two is 'fairer' so to speak! Is there anything I should know about in terms of how the two different platforms operate, or are they both truly, genuinely random, and I've got as good a chance at either???
It'll be single zero (European) roulette to keep the odds as much in our favour as possible - and it'll be interesting to see how we get on!
All input/advice very much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
