Unfortunately a Dutch item but basically it is all about the fact that online gambling cannot be stopped in this case for Dutch customers.
Many casinos mostly from Caracao open up online and the Dutch state fines them and takes the sites down.
But 2 days later they have just opened a new website as the income exceeds the costs of a fine and setting up a new casino website.

I know only 1 Dutch casino that actually operates under a Belgium License - Kroon Casino

Also mentioned is that William Hill & Paddy Power for example are eager to enter the Dutch market.

Interesting Article.

Hey Lotusch!

I hope video on EN so I will be able to watch it tomorrow :)

Btw, AFAIK to date - no one ever paid any fine to KSA (at least from Curacao). That's the whole point.

But Curacao itselfs restricts NL as a country.

This video is years old. 7 Red doesn't even exist anymore. 7 Red didn't have a Dutch owner. The owner is/was an Israeli guy. They rebranded to Lucky8.

Well the video says 7 Red was Dutch owned...Sue them...:D
And as for the video, it only came in my feed today, let's sue them too..

Should have checked publish date indeed ^^

So it is not current anymore..

Let's say that the guys in the video are not the best-informed guys.

What is right is that 7 Red (and also Royaal Casino and Red Slots) was targeting Dutch gamblers. They got 2 fines for that, lost the courtcases, dissolved the company and started a new company/new casino.

Also, what they say about Kroon Casino isn't correct. Kroon Casino has a license to operate just a small amount of RNG games in Belgium, no slot machines and no live casino games anymore. Their .be website also doesn't work anymore.

Kroon Casino got fined too by the way and William Hill too. :)

It's just stupid the way they think things could be legalised. I swear with being exposed that much to gambling and the risk of a social isolation there's a whole new breed of problem gamblers coming.

Look closely at the USA. The goverment is using gambling as a way to increase tax income. Yet all that money that is supposed to go to the most basic things like a new car, kitchen or whatever the fuck people need, flows to gambling. The suicide rate on gamblers in the USA is the highest. This will come to europe as well.

The fine's should be that high enough and the penalise should have effect on their license as well.
