Unregulated internet gambling is simply adding to the growing problem of addiction, delegates attending the Canadian Association of Suicide Prevention conference in Toronto were told this week.

Another good argument for regulation and channeling funds back into education and rehabilitation. But no doubt in Ontario they'd prefer to brush it under the carpet and hope it goes away. Nice

I read this report earlier today and was struck by the lack of linking substantiation to these general and in places rather provincial statements. I wasn't convinced that online gambling was responsible for a climbing Canadian suicide rate!!!

probably more likely that suicide is up in Canada because BTO and RUSH have been replaced with Avril Levine, Sara Mclachlan and Celine Dion.*
