OMNI Casino wager req. carry over

I was told this is a Cryptologic policy, not an individual licensee policy.

Inter doesn't have that scam policy. If you bust, you bust without further harrasment. Next bonus, new WR without the past WR haunting you.
Thx. for replying.
And thx. Meister, for addressing the issue.
If omni drops that sick policy, I might consider playing there again.
BTW isn't Sands of carribean in the same group with same rules?

Thanks sweiger, that's the reply I was waiting for! ;) The customer support person said Inter and the other Crypto licensees have the same policy as our properties (yes, Sands has the same policy). The owner isn't in the office today so I'm going to talk to him about this first thing tomorrow morning. I will update you on his thoughts then.

Frank

I think its very wrong to have wagering carried over if you lose your deposit and bonus.

If I lost my $200 with say $1500 of wagering left before I could withdraw anything I would NEVER EVER re-deposit. Whats the point when you cant withdraw any winnings until you have gambled loads.

And if that is the case the website should CLEARLY state this in big, bold letters as this carry-over wagering is almost a license to steal money really.

Exactly! That's why I hope omni will get kicked off the accredited list and buried in "not recommended" section, unless of course, they do the right thing and cancel that licence-to-steal term.

The gentleman in charge of our bonus policies is back in the office now. He just responded to my question about this saying that this was a Crypto policy but should have been repealed in early January. It was a temporary policy due to some major bonus fraud occurring in a certain part of the world. He said he would talk to Crypto about this ASAP.

Frank

OK, I played omni 2/1 and inter 7/1, so the
"policy due to some major bonus fraud occurring in a certain part of the world"
might have been on while playing omni and gone when I played inter. That explains why inter acted normally for me.
But it doen't explain the policy. Why not just ban players on an individual basis if bonus fraud was really observed, instead of hitting all crypto players without any info as to why?

I cannot think of how there can possibly be fraud where someone has lost their deposit and bonus.

Casino fraud maybe LOL, but I cannot see how even the best fraudsters lose their $100 deposit and the bonus, and then manage to re-deposit and commit fraud, whether there is a carryover or not of the wagering requirement???

The only thing I can think of is a system fault which can be manipulated, and if that is the case the solution would be to fix the fault surely.

Thanks for your help Frank.
WR seems to have been reset at omni now.
But: What about all the other players, and what about sands of carrebean (old WR is still there)

After reading this old thread i was curious, does Omni and Sands still carry over WR on bonuses? What about Intercasino?

I'm afraid so, this "temporary" policy is still active at both Intercasino and Littlewoods, and since this is a Crypto thing, and not down to individual licencees, then Crypto obviously decided in the end NOT to repeal the policy.

The "bonus fraud" involves taking each monthly and making a big Blackjack bet. If you win, it is +EV, if you lose, and WR zeroes out, you repeat the same the next month, and also get a long term +EV situation. With WR carry over, these losing bets only remove 2x the monthly match worth of WR, and repeating this the following month is far harder due to this carry over. With just over 50% of these attempts resulting in a loss, this method quickly becomes unstuck due to the build up of WR, and the bonus whores then give up.

This can even work with slots bonuses, the big BJ bet simply does not count, but a win allows grinding on slots which hopefully will yield a small, but consistent, profit.

If you don't play at all for three months after zeroing out, unfinished WR then drop off, and on month 4 you can have a fresh start.
