OKPay Catch-22 This makes zero sense

Was going to play at 3dice but OKpay only way to deposit....was told.....

CS said you can call the company direct so not sure why they would charge when the call is on your dime.

I decided not to when told it takes 2-3 days for them to verify. Verify what? the aren't depositing a $1 to your credit card as some do to verify bank accounts and you are using either debit or credit so nothing to verify, either charge goes through or not. Right?

Until they get another processor for debit/credit, I won't be playing

Yeah, I gave up on 3Dice and okpay.

I submitted a copy of my ID and a copy of a bill to verify my address three different times, and every time I do, I get an email 3-5 days later saying it's not enough to verify my information, when you can clearly see it.

I told both 3Dice and OkPay to close my account. If they don't want my business (Okpay having a horrible verification system, and 3Dice only using this option for US players) then they can both kiss my business goodbye.

I signed up with them a couple weeks ago but didn't proceed further. Just had a bad vibe about them plus reading some things here.

3 Dice needs to find another processor to process visa or AE as other casinos have. If not they may be the next casino group to drop out of u.s. market

i signed up at okpay, they sent me an email stating they couldn't read docs, which i sent via scan, so i took a picture of it with digital camera, downloaded on computer and sent it to them and got verified. I have been using okpay to deposit and have not had any problems. thank you to Enzo for suggestion, and helping to speed up the verification process Was going to go nuts if i couldn't find a way to deposit

It took a while to get set up with okpay..But finally got verified..No problems with depositing at 3dice...However, this morning I got a email saying they needed more docs even though I have been depositing for the past week...Oh well...

I sent a PM to 3Dice a few days ago. Haven't heard back. I was asking about a gift card deal like some other casinos offer. I guess 3Dice doesn't want to bother with another deposit option. I assume that means they don't care about my business (or any others) that don't want to jump through hoops like needed for OKpay.

I really like their one line slots, and some of their video slots, but not enough to throw my private info all over the place just to play there. I am a bit disappointed but what can you do.

Exactly. I'm glad I closed my account. If they don't want to work on having customers deposit, why even bother keeping an account.

Glad it worked for you, but after scanning three different bills and my ID three times and still getting "We at OKPay are idiots and can't read your scanned documents, so please try again" I decided not to deal with a business such as that.

The problem you run into with Gift Cards is then your going right back to what I'm assuming there trying to avoid. Possibly use a rogue processor that's going to hide the nature of the business. Saying your buying a gift card for $200 for coffee, furniture, computer equipment, MP3s or whatever. When in all reality your buying a gift card for online gaming. That just spells trouble and them running off with your money and the casinos money all over again. There's been many gift card processors that have been shut down and I'm sure are still going to be shut down. Until the US climate is better.

I too have tried to get verified by OKPay and was turned down. I used the same docs that I used to get verified at all online casinos and ewallets that I use. (never had a problem getting verified anywhere) I was told that the my state id was not valid...my address docs was not valid etc. I just gave up.

I used to love playing at 3Dice Casino, but it's just to hard to fund your account there. I agree that 3Dice should be more considerate of their US players and find a more agreeable depositing method if they want our business. I like the gift card method...i use it all the time at RTG casinos and have had no problems...

I think 3Dice should listen to some of its (unhappy) players...

If my country decides that on line gambling is A-OK, 3Dice will not be around for the USA folks. I believe that any casinos that kept letting USA players fund and play when the legality of it was iffy, will be slapped down, so those that can play at 3Dice better get to playing, because they will not be around too very much longer, at least that's what I believe.

im not shure how many deposits you made this month but on this subject i believe it's a max of 10 per month

but then again under the existing atmosphere you cant blame them for not doing due diligence on who they approve [ might be a DOJ.Officer]

Cant get verified

Hi all! I have been having a devil of a time getting verified with these guys. They keep saying proof of address is insufficient
I finally gave up. I got the email and phone number verified with help from Ellen at 3Dice but no go on the address even though the proof I sent them is legible, accurate and current. I really would like 3Dice to have another deposit option. Until then I guess I can't play at 3Dice. Okpay for me is definitely not OK. Pity because I love 3Dice!

Osulle you can call them and they will verify your addy or whatever it is they are needing on the phone. I was one of the fortunate ones that had a smooth transition with Okpay. I have helped numerous 3dice players get their accounts verified and over the hurdle. I use Okpay regularly and do recommend them if you want hassle free and fast transfers into your 3dice account. USA players are down to slim pickens when it comes to depositing and I say thanks to Okpay as it allows me to enjoy online gaming for a few more days at least

My OKPay story:

Decided to sign up at OKPay last night, actually early this am my time around 2:00am, and was expecting all kinds of problems after reading this thread. So I sent them in my DL copy and a utility bill. Got an email this morning that I was verified. Not one problem, not one hangup. I was amazed because my address is hinky because of the postal system and usually gets flagged as invalid.

Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
