At about 1AM on Tuesday morning, I requested a withdrawal to OK PAY from Manhattan Slots for $1100. I was surprised and elated to see it had been the withdrawal had been processed within 30 minutes after the request. This has NEVER happened at CWC or anywhere else for me.

I immediately completed an OK PAY Debit Card Top Up for $900. I have tried to withdraw varying amounts from the ATMs of 4 different banks and ALL of them said the same thing...that I had "exceeded my daily withdrawal limit."

I was able to use the card as a credit card to pay a couple of bills and purchases a a couple of stores.

I created a support ticket and uploaded a copy of the receipt for the denied transactions. I got some lame reply about a possible delay time this morning.

It certainly seems no coincidence that when I logged in to one of the Club World Casinos late yesterday afternoon OK Pay had VANISHED from their site. Support told me they had made a decision to not do gaming transactions with US Residents.

Then, just about a half hour ago, I tried to take funds from my Debit Card and put them back in my Web Wallet and that transaction was also DENIED!

Forget about calling OK PAY. You will get nothing but a busy signal.

This may well be the final straw for me in online gaming. I am SICK OF THE HASSLES, SICK OF THE LOSSES, AND SICK OF THE GREEDY ONLINE GAMING OPERATIONS THAT DO EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO DELAY PAYMENTS WHEN YOU ACTUALLY WIN.

As another member pointed out, this is another example of the Casinos, in this case CW Group failing to communicate or offer an honest answer to their loyal patrons who have in many many cases have thrown away tens of thousands (or more) of dollars to their greedy games.

I just hope I can continue to use the Debit Card for "legitimate and legal" purposes until the balance is zero.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW THE CARD DECLINES FOR ALL TRANSACTIONS!

I just tried to use the card to pay a fine for a traffic violation to the city where I live. The available balance on the OK PAY Site is $540. This transaction was for $350. IT DECLINED. IT LOOKS LIKE I'M SCREWED.

I had a gut feeling yesterday that I should just use all available funds on the card to take care of things or purchase needed items but I didn't do it. I decided to wait until today and unless something changes I have been ripped of $540 at a minimum.

If you have netspend or bluebird you can register the okpay card and use it to load those cards....ns is 200 a day and bluebird is 100 it may take a couple days to get it all but thats one way to do it.

So Sorry... this should not happen to anyone. But I think all US players just have to give up. We are not getting our funds back, so unless you just like contributing, it's not happening. If CWC is not being reliable, no one is. You are waiting on Okpay that you can no longer get, I am waiting on Paymycard for 9 days now. I almost went okpay but something held me back, now I am glad, thought I don't have PMC either. Another player from INB, another reputable casino, cannot get their funds from Mypaylinq. As I said, I think all US players are done, and I do think this will make it much less profitable for the industry. But I will be wishing you luck, and myself as well, that we can get our funds one last time. I guess I just gave myself a good reason for quitting. Good Luck

This is kinda a surprise about the debit card not working.

I knew that you couldn't deposit with OkPay anymore. I guess if the card is still working for bill pay, that is a perk.

I just had a feeling about something not quite right last week. Glad I got my wire. Could be a viable way to get your money. Requested on Thursday, received in bank on Monday.

READ MY UPDATED INITIAL POST. NOW MY CARD WILL NOT WORK FOR ANY TRANSACTION.

    • OK Pay Card will not work at ATMs
    • OK Pay Card will not work for point of purchase transactions or "Signature Purchases."
    • OK Pay Web Site will not allow you to place funds from the Card back into your Web Wallet
    • OK Pay cannot be reached by telephone--you will only get a busy signal.

    Wow,

I am so sorry to read all of this. I know many of you had to bend over backwards to get the card to begin with. This is just wrong on so many levels.

I am waiting on a withdrawal from CWC but it is with pay my card. I was told by the rep here at CM that it was delayed and I should see it by the end of the week. I hope so.

It was submitted on the 8th, nine days ago. I know I am frustrated with my situation, I can't imagine being in yours.

I hope things work out for you soon,

pnutts, are you using the "debit" option or the "credit" option when trying to use it.

Someone told me you have to use the "credit" option.

I'm using the "Credit" Option--Anyone with a balance has been HAD!

Yesterday it worked; however, now ALL transactions are blocked. I even tried to register it to my Netspend card to transfer money and the verification authorization for under $1 was DECLINED.

I found this buried deeply in tiny print on the OK PAY Site supposedly from 3/17:

You must register/login in order to see the link.

My question is this? Why did they complete the the card top up if they knew an entire month ago that these funds had been seized by the Cypress Government?

Why didn't they IMMEDIATELY suspend all Debit Card Top Ups to protect their "valued customers?"

    Get real--these people are thieves!

It says something about a $250.00 per day limit.

It also expects the funds to be released, so, it sounds temporary.

    Sorry

This is horrible. I know people like to play online but with all the seizures and delays in payment it's time to seriously consider is it worth it.

The casinos are hard enough to win at anyways and when you finally do win you don't even know if you're going to get your money, especially if it's a big win.

Pmutts, I was going to suggest using it at walmart and getting cash advances til it was cleared but looks like that won't even work now.

goodluck...hope CWC can help you out.

    Interesting on so many levels.

The people that own OKPay also own Payspark. That may not mean much to some of you but Payspark used to be a viable deposit/withdrawal option for US before UIGEA. Payspark also had a debit card. Payspark is also listed as a deposit/withdrawal option on InetBet but I received an email from Payspark last week stating that they would no longer accept US DL as verification, that I needed to send in a passport. That ended that for me .

I got my wire with no problem. Maybe if you have money that isn't tied up with a debit card, you can have it wired to you.

What a mess this has turned out to be for US players. I guess I can say I'm glad I don't have a withdrawal pending because I'd be a PO'd person right now.

Currently both inet and 3 dice still offer okpay for deposits and withdrawals. I wonder if this is only an issue at clubworld.

Reflecting on cw's periodic processor issues-I wonder if a payment to okpay was delayed, which affected customers' balances at okpay.

I hope you are able to retrieve your funds soon.

Where there's smoke... there's usually fire. I actually hoping not, but It's probably a matter of time until there are issues at 3Dice and Inetbet too. Maybe someone could PM the 3Dice or Inetbet rep and get clarity?

I would be cautious using OKPAY anywhere at this present moment. The last thing people need is their funds being held or seized by some foreign bank. There is a reason CWC removed the option.

The latest OKPay update still mentions that there are daily limits, not a complete freezing of funds. Something more recent, and more devastating, has happened.

OKPay has also failed to keep customers informed before applying these new measures, so naturally their phone lines will be busy, something that will only make things worse for the reputation of OKPay.

It seems this more or less confirms my earlier suspicions that the problems at MyPayLinq might also be connected to the problems in Cyprus, where an earlier measure prevented money from leaving the country. However, MyPayLinq has never confirmed this, nor told any customers waiting for a bank wire what the problem was.

It could be the combined effects of the freeze by the Cypriot government and UIGEA measures that have seized up these methods for US players.

Officially, this is all temporary until a decision has been reached and the taxes secured.

    Failed on every level.

Vinylweatherman, you are reiterating my point. The link I posted from the OK pay site is dated 3/17. Why would they continue to top up the debit cards if they knew the Cypress Government would sieze the funds. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

They claim that while any monies they hold for their customers are held in countries other than Cypress and they are "safe." The go on to say the Bank that issued the Debit Cards is in Cypress however and therefore those funds are essentially in jeopardy.

My question is why didn't they boldly announce on their site on March 17 that the Debit Card was temporarily suspended until the Cypress Financial Crises was resolved.

If I had seen that article--and read it--I would have NEVER topped up my card after my first win in well over a month. In fact, I probably would not have withdrawn to OKPay.

Do you think this is why they for all intents and purposes hid this article on their site? Perhaps they realized people would be afraid to entrust their money to them.

It's now dated the 22nd, but still only mentions the daily limits, not the total suspension of the debit cards. There must have been a further development that they have yet to tell their customers about.

Reported problems with debit card transactions

    Hello,

I'm wondering if there are any issues with the OKPAY debit card, because I have read reports from other card holders (in the USA) that transactions are being declined for all types of purchases (ATM, point of purchase, transfers back to the OKPAY wallet, etc). Any information you can provide would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your prompt attention.

Yep, technical difficults are the first thing they say right before the feathers hit the fan. :(

All entities, casinos, webwallets etc, don't want to let on that there is a problem because then they will lose customers.

I'm pretty sure I am done with online gaming until the US decides to legalize it. I am not wired to wait and hope I get paid. So for my sanity and the safety of others, I am going to make the trip to my local B&M casino when I get the urge.
