Resolved Ok it looks like I was wrong about Rushmore

[pab-in-progress]long story short i got my check from cherry red on oct 7th was told becasue it was drawn on hsbc canada although it was a bank draft they would hold it for 11 days they did nothing came back but bank hasnt recieved credit so they replaced another hold which has been on it ever since i contacted ben in withdrawels numerous times and he was helpfull in the matter but its now confusing my bank says they called and hsbc says although the account is good and money is there the actual check had errors on the bottom numbers not matching there system so my bank says it fraud however the processor confirmed to ben that the check actually cleared through the next day through there bank ...now the processorsare trying to get a hard copy of the check back so they can fax it to my bank to prove it cleared but they havent got it yet and if it cleard that long ago why hasnt my bank received the credit im getting worried that it got lost or something and if so what can i do? does anyone know this wait is going on well a whole month now and they were going to wire me the money after tryijng to cancell the check just to help me buit after finding out the check had cleard through they say all they can do now is wait for the hard copy and confirmation number from the processor to show my bank it cleared ....can anyone give any advice on this ? ty[/pab-in-progress]

I have nothing to add...but I am curious as to why people keep taking checks, knowing how hard they are to cash ?

Silc, I totally agree with you. While I am not trying to cast aspersions on casinos issuing checks, in this day and time in the US, why would a player request a check? I can't cash a check written on J.P.Chase bank by one of their account holders at their bank. I had to take it to a check cashing place and then they had to call the business and verify that the check was written by them before they would cash it. And this was a check written in the US.

Just pay the extra money to a web wallet and be safe.

Johnshoe, I have no help to offer. If your bank won't help with this, then you are likely to have problems.

only one porblem though i contacted the processors they have not contacted my bank even once and they have not recieved the hard copy of the check that has supposly been cashed way back on oct 8th i cant belive im even having to post this i never dreamed this group would do this at all but now im worried very worried[/pab-in-progress]

@johnshoe333 : you've got to relax a little man! There was no harm being done here (as far as I can see) until you started freaking out and repeating your "sky is falling" posts all over the place. Doing so creates a big mess that one of us moderators have to clean up. That is seriously uncool and won't be tolerated.

I've since merged your posts together blah blah blah but know this: if you cannot post responsibly here then your posting rights will be removed.

If you've got a problem bring it to us and let us deal with it. Taking matters into your own hands like this is wrong and a PITA. :mad:

Fair enough. No serious harm done, except the last 30 minutes I've had to spend cleaning this up are gone forever. :grumpy face:

I suggest you take some time to read other stuff on our forums. You'll see how things are done here and what is expected of the membership. It's not that complicated and just takes a little bit of reading to get up to speed.

Now, where was I with my weekend ....

Hi all,

We're doing all we can concerning this matter - For some reason, the player's bank is holding the check we had sent him and are deciding what to do with it - Dozens of checks went out in this batch and we have had no other player's contact us with the same issue, so we're not sure why this player's bank is doing this.

Our processing company have tried to cancel the check so that we can proceed to send a wire to the player instead, but the response they have received back is that the check being processed and has been accepted (funds taken from our account) so is past the point of being able to be canceled.

Once the player's bank decides what to do with the check, we can proceed to send a wire to the player if needs be.

hi louise the bank finnlay found it guess they smoking crack or something anyway sorry took lil while to get back about it but had to have my gall bladder taken out this week ouch ....special thanks to you and bryan and max and ben for all yall have done ty very much have great day.....max can you put resolved on this thread please and ty again
