I am quite a big fun of lucky lady charm and dolphin pearl. The feature is hard to get but easy to re-trigger, very exciting.

In the past few weeks, I had few sessions, that I had 7 or 8 features for each session but no re-trigger at all.

Today at casumo, 4 features, no re-trigger..., again...

    very frustrating...

    Is this normal?

    cheers

I have noticed this and think its more normal on the online slots than their land-based counterarts. The RTP on the land-based machines is lower (normally advertised on the Gaminator machine) and is generally one of 90%, 92% and 94% whereas the online versons are between 94 & 97% gernerally with LLC Deluxe top of the tree at a shade over 97%. When you look at the pay-tables they are the same too from what I can see.

So my best guess is that the variance has been changed and the land-based ones are higher to compensate for lower RTP. If that assumption is correct, the logical way to do that would be to make the feature harder to get but make it's payout potential better. Hence why re-triggers might be more common on land versions with the online versions watered down a bit.

Also, the bet limits online are a lot higher so lowering the variance also lowers the risk exposure for a casino.

No re-triggers you say? Come back when you've had 7-8 sessions without a feature at all! :D

I do love Novomatic slots but they're very volatile and a bad streak (as in winning nothing at all) can extend for weeks.

I agree with Simmo, the land based versions have way more re-triggers, but a lot less base game wins.

If there were much less re trigger in these 2 games, they are not even worth playing anymore...

I agree with all of the above.

Takes me a lifetime to ever get a feature on these slots though! :eek2:

LLC deluxe played online is hopeless imo. In the land based version I quite often hit decent or monster features, rarely so online. This conclusion is based on 100k+ spins on both. It's now one of the Novomatic games I avoid to play online.

For me, the classic version of book of ra, captain's venture (here you'll get retriggers basically every time, super sick features!) and Sea Sirens are the ones I play. The two latter are only available on Stargames.

I also find that retriggers online on LLD are hard to come by however very easy on the land based version.

Annoys me also cos I love playing the land based version!

I would like to see "rich witch" online (the same as the land based version).

Yes I don't get why they haven't done that one yet...it's very popular in UK land-based and a decent game too, although frustrating when you keep getting the same bonus symbols stacking up and never the 3rd one LOL.

Agreed, but it still does retrigger SO MUCH which makes it amazing fun and super tempting to chase the feature hehe.

I hope when (and im sure its when and not if) they bring it online it wont suffer from the same fate as LLC. I really do think the online version of that game plays very different to the land version (and not in a fun way) - they toned down the retriggers online imo and added the RTP somewhere else.

I totally agree, the toned down version is actually worse because it is boring with less fun in the bonus game, the only big one in the base game are 5 scatters and 5 wilds, they are so rare. There is no motivation for players to keep playing... I played LLC at energy casino and now casumo. And I normally put in 200-300x of my bet to try my luck. It appears that online version not really worth the money/time... How can casinos offering these games attract players back for more?

Right now, there are just very few casinos have these slots, it should work to the casinos' advantage to attract players. For me, if I want to play netent/MG I can play at many places offering my local currency and almost instant cashout. I signed up casumo only to play their novolines... I paid my price but did not get what I hope for...

I think the hardened gamblers love these slots for the retriggers so I think it would be a big mistake if they have toned them down in the online versions as well. This is just our opinion though we don't know what the truth is. All we know is the game is definitely different online (higher RTP than land version as official figures say so)

I think 5 scatters inside the free games is more common than you think in the land based LLC!

Novomatic is very well known for it's insane volatile slots.
I had sessions where I would turn a €100.00 deposit into €1000.00 literary within minutes into play.
As a good few slots can chuck out a massive win on the bonusgames. (Book of Ra,Lucky Lady Charm,Dolphins Pearl,Katana,Mystic Secrets) etc etc.
But boy,if they are cold they ARE cold and I have had loads of sessions divided between a few days where these slots would eat your balance like crazy.
As Base game pays on Novo slots are low and not worth mentioning except maybe for the top paying symbol.

So you need free spins/bonus games and then you might end up with a nice big win.

So even 10-20 or 30 features might occur without a retrigger.

My one and only "offline" 5 scatter win came in the free spins on Book Of Ra in Brighton but I saw a guy hit the 5 LLC scatters during the free spins at Gala Tottenham Ct Rd once...hit the 4k max payout as it was in the pre-20k days.

I really like novomatic slots but I have come to realize they are more friendly towards medium-high rollers as most of their slots the bonus feature does not trigger regularly but the payout for even a bad round is usually better than other online providers like MG/NetEnt.

After trying out quite alot of novomatic slots the only one that I will probably stick with is rumpel wildspin because I have never had a bad bonus round (nothing below x20) and regularly get bonus rounds of x100 to x200 and this is after 2 1/2 months of playing it. The other slots like dolphin pearls, book of ra, just jewel deluxe are so streaky it can eat your balance so fast.

    Secret elixir - £10 deposited. I did 20 x 50p spins and literally won £1.

Had 80p left so did an 80p spin, won the feature.

    retriggered 5 times, won £350 :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

    £300 withdrawn
