This might only apply to land based casinos - not sure if online casinos using novomatic have varied payouts on their slots - but the land based have different rtp's on the same games - varying from about 90% to 'minimum 96%' at my local casino.
I just wondered how they do that. The manager does not know but says they have to have a completely new 'pack' if they change the rtp. If you know the reel layout of a game I believe you can work out what the rtp is -- so does this mean they actually change the layouts of the reels?
