There was also a device called a 'magic 8 ball' made by mattel, some of the 20 possible answers inside a standard Magic 8 Ball are:

Not read the book, but you reminded me of a movie i saw a long time ago that ive been looking for.
Interstate 60.
Decisions made using an 8-ball.
I kind of recall liking it, but it was such a long time ago i watched it i dont really trust my memory about it.
Ill download it and watch it later so i can give a proper review.
