I hope this is the right thread to post this in, if not I apologise and hope that the staff member moves it for me. Today I've been watching a lot of UK gambling YouTubers such as "Foss" and they're using a site called Roobet which is a cryptocurrency casino. Foss is based in the U.K and is an Affiliate for Roobet which I believe is based in the United States and is not allowed to legally operate in the U.K as it's not licensed by UKGC. He mentions this on many of his streams that if you're from the U.K you must play using a VPN, I proceeded to then question the customer service for Roobet which unfortunately I don't have screenshots for as I mentioned that I reside in the U.K and asked about their sponsorships of U.K streamers, where I was then told by a staff member called "Brandy" that she was going to get more information on this and I never received a reply and I returned to my computer to see that m account was locked.

Summary:
I believe that these non UKGC licenced Crypto Casinos are using British streamers to target the British audience and since they're from a Non-Licensed region then refuse to payout.

No worries - moved it here. Looks like you rocked the boat. LOL

As for non-UKGC casinos taking UK bets - we are going to see this happening more and more since the UK has become a nanny state on steroids.

Nationwide blocked my transaction to OJO yesterday, after spending 30 mins getting through to them it was to do a check that I could afford my £150 deposit to a casino. Theres over £60k sitting in the account lol

This country is becoming very tiresome these days for a lot of reasons.

You’ll get a lot more transaction checks for spending of all types in future. Most banks are stepping up their security. I get them regularly even for bills I pay regularly. Luckily my banks just usually require a quick text confirmation or authorising via the app. Bit of a pain, but ultimately it reduces fraud.

Its so annoying, I wouldnt mind if it was to check it was me making the transaction not a fraudster, but for them to ask me whether I can afford it, thats too far.

They got a right mouthful too as Id had a couple of drinks lol

Afraid if I could find and honest and reliable non uk licenced casino that takes UK players, I would
be tempted to try it, although I doubt whether one exists.
Fed up to the back teeth with UK regulation,Grosvenor locked my deposits yet again 10 days ago with
the reason that they were reviewing my account, didnt even have the courtesy to send me an email, i only
found out the reason by waiting 20 mins to get on live chat.I send them a snotty email telling them their
customer service was disgusting ,no reply and deposits still locked.Wont be contacting them again.
Just waiting for Mecca to block my account again which must imminent,UK gaming can get stuffed then

Yup, it feels that 2021 i just start to use cash again.... There is quite huge will to raise all security checks in almost all financial transactions everywhere.... Good old cash (and cryptos), nobody ask where it's from as long you have it
